Double DIN Will any Double DIN DVD player fit in an Octy Mk1 VRS?

I would say yes but be prepared to remove the glovebox so you can get your hand behind the HU to feed the cables through as it's very tight back there.

I was under the impression it would fit but just double checking as all Dbl dins are same dimensions

If it's genuine double DIN it should be fine as DIN has standard dimensions. If it doesn't mention DIN then it isn't a standard size. Hope that makes sense. I had a double DIN VW sat nav in mine.

hmmmm.... I think its a cheap jobie off ebay? But the guy lives in the same city as me so at least ive got abit of comeback on it?.

ask clearly if its double din etc and then pay via paypal and then you'll have some comeback if it doesn't fit.

Also, if its just the location thats given as the same city dont assume this is correct. The location doesnt always reflect where the seller is/good shipped from.

Be prepared for a struggle to get it in, unless you've got long thin arms. Esp. if the leads into it are on the right (when looking from front) & be prepared for fiddling.

Remove glovebox before starting.
