Just had mine done this morning, while the cost of 30 quid labour is sufferable, the flimsy paper sticker to warn of the deactivation at 9 quid odd plus vat is disgraceful.

Should have found someone with vag-com, proberbly wouldnt have cost anything. No warning sticker though. Although the dashboard light works differently when disabled.

Hmmm. I'd be tempted if there was an easy on/off mod... BUT there's not a chance I'm going to deactivate it using VAG com if I need VAG com to reactivate it again... I will not take that risk with any passengers I happen to carry, even if 95% of my driving is done on my own... JM2PW
