Hey all!

I wondered if I could pick you`re brains for a second, I'm off on a road trip next month so was going to install the mother of all stereo systems for the journey. I was thinking of a double DIN unit (so I can watch films when I'm not driving ) which I think I could fit it if I tear out the ashtray and lighter from my X reg Felicia but I wanted to know if anyone has had success or failure doing this? I can rewire stuff fine but I'm all thumbs when it comes to hacking off bits of my dashboard.

Drop down unit in the headlining for rear seats would be better.

What about a single din unit with a slide out screen?

I think anything you do with the dash to make a double din fit would make it look untidy.
