mine has a 1.3i

its the lxi model...

is it spi or mpi???

mpi...

Bit new with skodas so need to know whether or not it is going to work...

it's possible it might not be wired up for it.... the dashboard end will be fine... it's the ecu looms which are different....

i'll pop outside and take a quick photo to show you where you need to look to find out if it's wired up for it or not

is there any way of finding out if it's compatible??

there's 2 little flat multiway connectors to the right of the battery

the small yellow wire attached to the larger of these 2 (bottom) is for the rev counter, if yours is wired up for it there will be a wire connecting this wire to pin 6 on the simos engine management unit
