  4. tip brand...

it says madras rubber factory on it! I know its alright as i send them a lot of stuff to get made into silicone and its always perfect.

i couldn't post public as it would lead to many questions

  5. lol of course i get good rates at work for courier let me see if i can make a box for it
  6. Hello I have the following for sale 1x K03S hybrid turbo. I have little history on this unit i know it is reworked by turbo technics in northampton and was on a beetle that was running 280bhp. It comes with a black oversized tip silicone hose that is new. The turbo has a fair amount of play on it and my whole intentions was to get the turbo rebuild. The previous owner also told me the actuator ideally will need replacing. Im after £100 for both parts (picture available tomorrow) 1x Crinkle Black Powder coated inlet manifold. It is a AUQ small port head version. The finish is really good. £75 (picture available tomorrow) 1x NEW white car carpet cant remember why i brought this as its abit of a job to fit! Not sure if you can still get these. this is massive so collection is advised £100 All parts available in Milton Keynes for collection or courier
  7. Hello I have for sale a set of genuine BBS CH002 which i brought from demon tweeks last year for £1089 inc delivery I had them on my mk1 skoda octavia vrs for 9 months and took them off for the winter. Wheels do not have any kerb marks on them or any marks on the faces. Pretty much as new they come with all the bbs spigot rings, valves and wheel bolts sets so they are good to fit any 5x100 vag group car (golf 4 fabia etc) They have a 70mm centre bore which the spigots convert to VAG fitment. They also come with a pair of 5mm spacers. Tyres are all pirelli rosso's 225/40/18 the fronts are 3.5-3.8mm tread each and the rears are 5mm each so very usable. There is a tiny mark on the back of one of the fronts where the wheel touched a coilover. This has no effect on anything. other than taking some paint off. There is no way you would tell when there on the car. Would prefer collection but can deliver if a price can be agreed I am based in Milton Keynes I have these listed on eBay for £650 Im after £600 as I'm expecting a new car very soon Many thanks
  8. mine has started to this but much lower in the rev range about 3500 on half throttle. you can actually here it dump the boost on the DV continue like normal afterwards. my intital process will be boost leak check because theres a million pipes and connections that fail regardless of how much silicone hoses and checks i do N75 value i want to see what it does when i data log this when it does make the flat spot/loosing boost. the dump value it self i want to make sure it can still hold boast correctly both those units for me are under 2 years old and OEM units for me so i don't think they will be the problem The next 2 are more tricky to diagnose as there more age related i think could be the issue is the fuel pump because i know its original and I'm asking it to work harder (my car is stage 2) The last is the actuator and turbo it self again i know both are original so they are suspect I'm sitting on 110k miles now and been remapped from 60k
  9. also as a very final check give apex the axle loads for the car and make sure it is in range (it will be on a data sticker on the b piller most likely) just incase apex have decided to use a one spring fits all on the mk5 /octavia platform and it doesn't cover the extra weight of a octavia. Usually the way it sits at the rear is a clue
  10. hmm I have a lot of experience fitting lowering springs and coilovers on mk5 and 6 golfs but it just doesn't look right to me the spring itself looks like it is upside down. this is purely from experience of using coilovers and any other springs i have seen. Ive never seen this brand so I am not ruling this out. The section that is quite tightly coiled together is designed to touch the coils like many coil springs do. Its a very hard science to do this with out making noise or making noise in the long term. Many many manufacturers do this with a lot of success thats where most of there "R&D" goes. Also are those non genuine shocks? there could be the slight chance that the spring base on that shock is slightly different to the very original one. Where you are getting that mark on the bottom of the springs which 100% isn't right and will be where your noise is from. it looks more likely it is upside down but if you are saying that the way they are meant to be then all i could think of is filing that base down slightly. i would definitely follow up with apex before doing anything
