  1. UPDATE: After fitting a new boot seal this seems to have solved the issue (touching all the wood I can find)
  2. Has anyone used an OBDEleven on their Fabia and is there anything good that can be enabled?
  3. so more confused, I tried cleaning up the area around the tailgate seal and then getting a hose on the car and I can see water coming out of a seam to the side and slightly higher than the taillight, All I can think is it's either the tailgate seal or it's getting in through the grommets for the tailgate wiring, but stuffing a rag behind the grommets came out dry, so still fairly stumped and just hoping a brand new seal will fix it, the old one is very loose in places.
  4. I had another look today and I think it might be the tailgate seal, I think Iā€™m going to order a new one.
  5. It's an estate but no sunroof. Where are the rear vents, I've had a look around and can't find any vents. I've just emptied a couple of watering cans over the rear of the car and not a drop inside (we still have a hosepipe ban here šŸ˜ž ) I'll keep checking around especially after we have rain. Thanks.
  6. OK, so after removing all the trim and the subwoofer I found a pool of water here, it's at the floor level as opposed to the bottom of the wheel well so I'm guessing that when I'm driving around it sloshes into the wheel well. Next question is where is it coming from???
  7. thank you, was having an issue uploading the image šŸ˜’ Now if someone can just remove my junk posts above, that would be great.

  9. Here for reference for anyone coming across this post IMG_4666.HEIC
  10. Does anyone know the path the pipe takes from the front of the car?
  11. OK, so it looks like the 1.0 TSI 95PS is actually cheaper to insure than the 1.0 MPI 75PS one. Any horror stories about the 1.0 TSI 95? Also, why was the 1.2 TSI dropped?
  12. I have a 2016 Superb Estate which at the beginning of this year I found the spare wheel well to be full of water. I hadn't been in the under floor are for years (no reason to) so assumed the water had accumulated over time. I emptied the water out and left it all to dry. I finally got round to removing some of the trim this weekend to try and find the leak. This morning I checked the boot before leaving for work and it was completely dry, after driving for about an hour to work I opened the boot to find some water in there, now it didn't rain on the way to work and I didn't drive through any puddles. Where is the water coming from!!!??
  13. I'm looking at changing my lovely Mini Clubman Cooper SD for something that I can insure for my daughter to learn in and then drive on her own. The car will be used by my wife and me also. I'm looking at something like a Mk 3 SE with the 1.0 MPI 75PS engine to keep insurance low but hopefully now completely frustrate my wife and I when driving. I can't live without CarPlay (give me some creature comforts! šŸ™‚ ) and I'm thinking if I can find a 2016 or early 2017 I can avoid the "Road Tax" price hike. So hive mind, any suggestions / recommendations / warning? Cheers All
  14. I noticed when I was driving the auto lock was triggering every time I moved from standstill, also the lock light was not illuminating on the locking button in the car. I then noticed that the rear passenger door was making a strange noise when locking the car, and on testing the door was not locked. I have been able to use the manual override to lock the door but need to know what the issue is. I can hear the actuator trying to lock the door but is obviously doesn't succeed. Is the issue likely to be the actuator or the locking mechanism or even just a cable issue? Cheers
  15. Sorry, tried a search and couldn't find anything. Has anyone had issues with the rear washer jet not working, I have given it a clean but nothing comes out. I can hear motor working and the reversing camera jet works fine. I see that on the octavia the pipe comes off sometimes does anyone know if this happens on the Superb as well?
