Seat Ibiza S Copa

Featured Replies

Hmm. Brand new courtesy car with 8 miles on it.

Tiny little engine, that thrums noisily if pushed. Needs to be in no higher than 3rd gear if going up any sort of incline, and not enough power to make decent progress on any kind of road. Tiny seats that I couldn't fit my shoulders into and which were really uncomfortable. I couldn't get over how noisy the suspension was for a new car. tbh I thought it was a crap driving experience. I'd rather drive the daughter's 1998 Rover 214.

Looks nice in white for a little car though.

You liked it then. :giggle:

The obvious question then... what of the engines did yours have? :)

Probably either 1.4 TSI 85PS or 1.2 105PS if petrol - 1.6 TDI 105PS if diesel at a guess??

They recently put the COPA on our company car fleet, nice little car, SAT NAV et all

From the description, I'm betting 1.2htp

SWMBO had a Ibiza 1.4 and it was astonishingly loud inside. Unbearable really. She only lasted a year with it before it had to go.

Not nearly enough soundproofing for the big wheels they stick on them. Might be ok with some skinny eco rubber.

My other half had a mk4 golf with the 1.4 (16 valve) engine a few years ago. It was the slowest thing I have ever driven. 75bhp trying to move a lardy mk4 golf about...

I just has a Leon 1.2 TSI COPA for a week. It was an horrendous thing, cheap, noisy, rattly. I was glad to pass it back.
