Ford Fiesta 1.4TDCi Titanium

Featured Replies

Bought this last week, has plenty of toys. Sony Dab Radio CD player, Bluetooth, speech recognition, halogen headlights, auto lights, auto wipers, central locking, perimeter alarm, immobiliser and 16" alloys.

The Fiesta is a decent looking car mine is Black Panther Metallic which looks very good.

The handling for a car of this size is pretty good, i find it a little soft (after the vrs) but perfectly acceptable, cornering is fine and feedback from the steering is pretty good. The engine is revvy but reasonably quiet and pulls quite well although lacking in torque and acceleration is fair without being aggressive. Gear change is smooth and even and the clutch is fine. Brakes are smooth and even and stop the car well. Front seats are comfortable and firm as are the rear seats, the front seats have plenty of adjustment and being quite tall at 6ft 2 inches was pleased to find i could quickly find a comfortable seating position. The rear seats are as comfortable as the front although for taller people rear legroom may be a little restricted especially behind myself. The boot space is fine for a car of this size, the back seats fold forward increasing the storage quite well although this means that the storage area has two levels when seats are dropped.

All in all the Fiesta is a fine small car, it handles and drives well, it is economical (which is the main reason i bought it) and is a fairly good looking car.

I would give it a score of 8/10
