I know that it has been raining and I occasionally get the odd drip off the centre roof controls but yesterday the driver's side floor pan was flooded. I couldn't find any source for it and everything around felt dry, so where did it come from?
The car has a sun roof and is parked slightly down hill.
My guess is it is something to do with the sun roof, either the seals have shrunk/ perished or the drainage pipes have perished/ become blocked.
Pointers at where to start would be appreciated.
Also the speedo/ odometer etc have stopped working but it still records the mileage and fuel consumption on the digital display. Could this problem be related? I tried the soldering trick and it worked for a few months. I am beginning to think it might be corrosion on the pins rather than dry joints.
Would like to sort the problems as I want to drive it to Sweden shortly.
Regards,
Wet feet

Update, the sunroof drains OK so I suppose it is down to the bulkhead.
The rubber seal around the bottom of the windscreen is pretty manky. It appears to be attached to the the plastic skirt which goes under the bonnet. Can it be repaired/ replaced or does the whole moulding have to be replaced?
The rev counter and gauges are working again but for how long?
This older car is beginning to get to me!
