Hi

Quick one, if you are driving your vrs with the windows down can you hear the gearbox do its thing? Like changing gear? I can sometimes hear mine changing up or down, a bit like the neautral or reverse clink sound. This is only when the box is changing gear manual or auto. Not noisy over bumps like some people are experiencing.

yup. not a problem.... can sometimes hear it with windows up if the music is down ;)

it is just 2 manual gearboxes, being changed mechanically....

worst is probably in sport or manual, when comming to a stop, and it changes down from 2nd to 1st.....

I am happy somebody asked because it can be quite a metallic clunk sometimes, I was going to get it checked.

Especially in manual short shifting. Higher revs it seams to go unnoticeable

yeah, if you short-shift in manual, ats almost as if its not pre-engaed the next cog yet, and is a bit more violent....

trust me though, its still smoother than a single clutch system!
