So on my Superb pretty much everything works.
Except for the  boot light and the Puddle light on the drivers door in the wing mirror and base of the door.
Even though they're the only things not working, could it still be water ingress?
(I've removed the drain plugs and sealed the pollen filter.)

The wireing nodes under the floor are simply twisted wires togeather with a plastic cover over. If they get damp then the copper oxides with a green colour and there is reduced conductivity between the wires.

What I'm trying to say here is yes most likely.

Get the front seat out and the carpet up. Clean the nodes and solder the clean wires togeather and recover them.

It not a hard job to do and costs as much as a soldering iron and some solder and a bit of your time.

Just don't be tempted to turn the ignition on (after you have connected the battery) to check your work, whilst the seat is still out, otherwise you will have the airbag warning light on the dash that will need VCDS to turn off.

Thanks guys. Will give this a go today.
Is it just the drivers seat I need to remove or the passenger too?

My soldering iron seems to have vanished....

No it's under the passengers seat, the drivers seat can stay in.

Why are you doing everything the hard way? Of course it could be water ingress and you should check it out, but if everything else is working, then maybe you need to just check the lights that are out? All 3 lights that are out on your car, are easy to check. For the door, take a flat head screwdriver, shove it in one side of the light (base of the door) and take it out. Check the bulb. It could just be out. Also you can take your voltmeter and check, if there are 12v coming for the light.

For the puddle lights. They are commonly going out, as the problem is not enough sealant from the factory. The little chip just rusts out and the leds stop working. You can take the mirror cover off, by inserting a little screwdriver into to the hole, that is under the mirror and then pulling it little bit front of the car (illustration says everything) and on the same time try to raise the cover.

Refer the image from this topic - http://www.briskoda....le#entry2247170

Then unplug the plug and open the door. Check with voltmeter for 12v.

For trunk light, it is the same as for door base light.

I have changed the bulbs but no success on any of them :(
So though bugger its probably water ingress.

So looks like it has to be the hard way.
Just bought a soldering iron and some solder.
Ready to tear apart my car when I get home.

If so, then it's time to raise some carpet. :(

Well I've just spent hours stripping back wires as there were a few corroded/corroding.
However the puddle light still does not function.
However the car does not bong when I open the door to tell me I've left my lights on so could this be my problem. Maybe a sensor?

Did you measure the volts on puddle lights, because I can bet that these are just out?

Nope nothing to measure with.
