Folks, Is there any intrest in a GPS tracker from blackvue, I've been offered a discounted club price.

Personally I can see use for this in my rucksac when I'm out winter climbing, let a designated person know I'll be back at 9pm etc... Can also see benefits for children and so on.

Id be interested. My new car is probably going to be stored at a local self store place and it would give me extra piece of mind that it is secure. Am I right in thinking that this would allow me to track any movements from my phone. And I could set a safe zone so if it left the compound for example I would be alerted.

Any thoughts on how the battery on the TR1000 can be extended to 12 months? Bigger (costlier?) battery?
