DSG FAULTY SO HOPEFULLY WILL GET REPLACED

Featured Replies

HELLO

I HAVE A SKODA APPROVED USED CAR 170BHP DSG

AFTER A DSG OIL CHANGE AT 40 000 MILES MY GEARBOX STARTED MAKING CLICKS WHEN DOWNSHIFTING FROM 3RD TO 2ND AND 5TH TO 4TH.

I HAD AN ASSESOR FROM WARRANTY DRIVE THE CAR AND NOW IT IS HOPEFULLY DUE TO HAVE A GEARBOX CHANGE.

MEANTIME NOW WHEN ENGINE IS COLD IT DOES HICCUPS AS SOON AS IT CHANGES GEAR TO 4TH.

WHO KNOWS WHAT IS NEXT...

I JUST HOPE THE DEALER AND THE WARRANTY CO SORT THINGS ASAP.

THE WARRANTY CO IS TELLING ME THEY ARE WAITING THE ESTIMATE FROM THE DEALER. THE DEALER IS SAYING THAT HAS BEEN DONE AND WAITING AUTHORISATION....FOR 18 DAYS NOW...!!!!

FIRST THE DEALER SAID I HAVE NO WARRANTY ???(CAR BOUGHT FROM SKODA MILTON KEYNES IN OCTOBER 2012)

JUST AN ADVICE TO EVERYONE... ALWAYS HAVE SOME KIND OF WARRANTY ON VALUABLE CARS.(I NEGOCIATED 2 YEARS WARRANTY FOR AN USED APPROVED CAR INSTEAD OF 1 YEAR JUST IN CASE)

NICK

Sorry to hear this.

Contact 'Skoda UK Customer Services' your self on Monday.

Too much of this happening with Skoda Dealerships.

An 'Approved car' is just that. You have your Rights & you paid extra for that 'Approved Car'.

Any further problem just contact you local Trading Standards, (start a case, or log one & forward your Emails to Skoda UK)

if Skoda UK do not sort that Dealership out.
