New carbon centre badges.

Cards £1

Tape £1

Paint £15

Badges £11

Happy with the results. What do you think?

Very good....................

Did you fill the dent with ISO pond? Much sanding required really want to do mine. Got a quote of 350Euro for a bare metal respray which isnt bad but my wheels aren't the worse so if I could do it myself id love to

Looks a tidy job mate:)

Looks good but always difficult to tell from pictures. Fair play to you for doing it though; I wouldn't even attempt because my spraying skills aren't good enough for a perfect job and anything less and I would be ****ed off.

Looks good might be tempted to try this myself...

v little sanding, just steel wool to key it really. the high build primer covers a lot of scuffs and dents. car filler from the 99p shop for the dent.

only thing, I would say no to this if its a complete colour change. I think it would show between the tyre and rim if it was a different colour.

if you get close, you can see they've been done, but let's face it they looked crap before so for thirty quid I don't mind doing it yearly if the cheap paint comes off down the line.

good job !

Look good, have you laqured them as well?

You have given me the inspiration to do mine but I am crap with a spray can as I get more runs than the England cricket team!

Nice job. Same wheel centres as mine. Looks good.

I would really put laquer on them. Easier to clean and protects the paint.

I refurbed wheels on an old 406 I had years ago, didn't put laquer on them and the break dust played havoc with them.

A couple of coats of lacquer would give the paint better protection and help stop it from flaking. I recently did a similar type home refurb on a set of motorbike forks - I know completely different but same principle. Lacquer did change the look of the paint slightly (for the better I might add) but I was advised by a professional to apply a cople of coats of lacquer as it is harder wearing than just paint.

Each to their own though and it looks like you have done a great job mate :-)

Looking good but I would definitely laquer them whilst they are freshly done :)

result looks good but i can't believe you did this with the wheel still attached to the car..!

Nor I but it does look good.
