Hello from lincolnshirem

I have a 10 plate octavia VRs Tdi that Ive had a while now and up to press no issues :-)

Recently the car started making a "howling" noise that sounds like airflow over an obstruction or similar at about 75mph through until about 85mph, beyond that the sound dissipates and car runs as normal.

I have looked the car over and no obvious defects or loose components ???????? I even tried coasting with clutch depressed and gearbox in neutral with engine off to see if it was gearbox related and it still is there...............................HELP ! love the car but its becoming so veryy annoying that Im going to have to get rid of it :-(
