2.5 v6 Engine Shield

does anyone know from where we get to buy the the engine cover/shield for the 2.5 v6 superb? i had taken my car to a garage to change air filter and also to check engine oil levels...the end result was that they dropped the shield face first and it broke off. :(

You will only be able to get it from Skoda dealership parts dept or similar for a new part.

For second hand part, you can get it from a scrapyard or eBay.

Thanks for the quick reply .. the dealers here are not quite helpful in any way. I had called them up yesterday asking for a replacement part ...they simply said "its not available anymore".... !! :(

I am pretty sure it would be available in the UK.  There is at least one UK dealer who is happy to ship parts to foreign countries, you could email them - their website is here: http://www.skodaparts.com/
