Bolero to Amundsen+

Hi iv just bought a 2011 1.6 se model that is fitted with maxi dot also bolero head unit with phone button but it only mutes the volume - I'm curios id like to have satnav as i still have my Amundsen+ taken from octavia before it was scrapped, is it major job to replace the bolero with the Amundsen+ & is there any how to guides also is the microphone likely to be fitted in the factory location & can i install a gps puk under the dash or will i need to replace the aerial to whip with small aerial, have done similar in golfs also i have full vcds.

You need to install the microphone in the rooflamp, run the wire at the A-pillar, under the dash to the radio. Take out the Bolero, fit Amundsen+, mount a GPS antenna under the dash, connect everything and code your CAN gateway to navigation. Takes an hour, max.

all done now thanks but I'm gonna run a wire from my roof aerial to the rns315 as iv been told my aerial supports gps
