Clogged veins in turbo

Is there anyone in within reasonable radius of Callington, Cornwall who would be willing try unclogging my turbo using the caustic soda method?  I will pay a fair price for this service.

Do you mean the Mr Muscle approach?  You might need to specific which engine/engine code you have too....

Mr Muscle does contain caustic soda BUT it also contains a substance that prevents metal corrosion by the caustic soda. It's also got various detergents and strong grease/oil removers.

My car has the 2.0 tdi engine.  How do I find out the code?

There will be a sticker in one of two (or both) places.

 

1) Inside the first page of the service book often stored in the glovebox.

2) Fixed to the boot floor very close to the spare wheel.

 

 

It will also be stamped on the engine block somewhere but this is often hard to find or is easily obscured when looking in from an open bonnet...

 

Vehicle identification number (VIN)

 

The vehicle identification number - VIN (vehicle body number) is stamped into the engine compartment on the right hand shock absorber dome. This number is also

located on a sign on the lower left hand edge below the windscreen.

 

Engine number

 

The engine number is stamped into the engine block.
