I can't claim to have done this drive, but I believe that it's very good.

Head west on A44 at New Radnor towards Rhayader.

At Rhayader, turn left onto B4518 and then immediate right onto unclassified road at Llansantffraed-Cwmdeuddwr. Travel west towards Cwmystwyth.

Past Cwmystwyth, take B4574 to Devil's Bridge. Meet A4120 and continue west past Vale of Rheidol railway and on to Aberwystwyth.

I'm sure John Craven did this drive on an old edition of Countryfile several years ago, but some of our fellow Welsh Britskodians might wish to back me up?
