  1. My 1.5 TSI Edition arrived in the UK his week and I had a call from my dealer asking if I was happy to have it delivered with the wireless charger disconnected. I said no problems as I don’t have a compatible phone. Car is being delivered to me on Monday.
  2. Just ordered a 1.5 TSI Edition + extras as my next company car, initial feedback is I can expect to see it end of April.
  3. Thanks for all the replies. There is no perfect measure of fuel consumption as everyone drives differently. WLTP has more variation in speed and load and is a longer test. Having seen a NEDC cycle performed it is very unrepresentative of how people drive but it’s the same test for all vehicles so the figures are comparable vehicle to vehicle but the values are to be taken with a (large) pinch of salt. Decided to go for the 1.5 TSI Edition manual as it’s much better spec’d and cheaper for me as a company car driver than a 1.6 TDI SE L.
  4. Thanks for the reply, that’s good for town use!
  5. As a company car driver I've always steered towards TDI's for lower CO2 and better fuel consumption. Now the company car tax is not much different (as the diesels have an additional penalty levied against them), my mileage is not as high as it used to be and the uncertainty after 2020 on what the government will further levy on diesels, I'm now thinking of switching to the 1.5 TSI for my next car. Has anyone had a Karoq 1.5 TSI manual for any decent length of time to advise on what kind of mileage you get to a full tank or trip computer MPG figures you're seeing? Many thanks.
  6. Still for sale, open to near offers before eBay.
  7. Acer Aspire 5720 15.4" laptop. Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2Ghz processor, 2GB RAM, 160GB hard disc and Wifi. Full working order, running Ubuntu 14 64bit operating system, much quicker than Windows, include Firefox web browser and LibreOffice (Writer, Calc and Impress) which is fully compatible with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Great laptop for web browsing, word processing and spreadsheets. £80 collected. Happy to post, contact me for options.
  8. Still available, will include UK postage in with the price.
  9. Brodit kit sold, MDI cable still available.
  10. Hi. Yes the phone holder is fixed to the ProClip with 4 screws so it can be easily removed. Thanks.
  11. Hi. Honestly, I don't know. I can only advise that I fitted to my Octy II FL. Do you have rSAP only bluetooth already factory fitted?
  12. Genuine Skoda MDI to iPhone 30pin cable, part number AZ0800001. Used but perfect condition. £5 including postage within the UK. For sale is a Brodit ProClip mount with iPhone holder that I had installed in my 2010 Octy II FL. The mount is part number 653525 ( http://www.brodit.com/product.html?id=653525 ) and is the centre mount ProClip for all Octavia II (FL and pre-FL) excluding the Scout. Attached to it is an iPhone holder with pass-through 30pin connector, the part number is 516042 ( http://www.brodit.com/product.html?id=516042 ). This holder was originally bought to hold my old iPhone 3GS, it's adjustable to fit iPhones with cases. It will also hold an iPhone 4/4S as I have been continuing to use it with no issues when I upgraded to a 4S from my 3GS. The holder has a built in 30pin pass through connector and I had it connected to the MDI with an extension cable. I found it great when using the iPhone for SatNav, held it in a great position, kept it charged and I could play my music to! Both retail for around £70, looking for £25 including UK postage. SOLD
  13. I have for sale a VAG bluetooth module part number 5N0035730D. I installed this in my 2010 Octavia II FL to replace the rSAP only module (p/n 5N0035730C) that was factory installed. The module I have for sale supports rSAP and UHV so will work with iPhones (the reason I installed it) and also supports bluetooth audio streaming. If you have a FL Octavia with factory fitted premium bluetooth (rSAP only) built before wk22 2010 then this module will directly replace the installed module and no coding is was required on my vehicle. As to any other Skoda or other VAG vehicle compatibility, I'm afraid I don't know for sure, I did a bit of searching and this old for sale post may be further help: http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/233262-5n0035730d-bluetooth-module/ No other cabling or wiring is included, just the module as pictured. £75 posted within the UK.
  14. See this post, it can be done. http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/303759-boot-net-system-and-the-variable-boot-floor/
