Stooz, thanks for the advice! One thing my instructor said I was good at was judging traffic and was using gears to help slow the car in my second lesson. All this advice is great and it really helps guys! Cheers Cam Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Yeah I'm happy to share! Well when I turned 17, my parents added me onto their 1.4 D4-D Toyota Yaris straight away to help while driving. I passed a month after starting and with me on the insurance as a named driver it cost £1400. I'm 18 on the first of February, but due to not having any no claims that won't make a massive difference. I've applied for insurance from admiral as they have the cheapest quote for me of £978 paid annually. That's with me as main driver and one parent as an additional driver. I've shopped around that's the best I can find! Hope that helps! Cheers Cam Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Mike, I've heard about your citigo from a friend who just passed with you, Scott jones? He said you were good and he was upset he never got to use the citigo! I'll keep a look out as I'm in the bbh area! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

In that case, I'll probably get them to hold it although the dealer is trying to push it forward and they're giving me a birthday surprise apparently? I wonder what they have planned lol :P Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I've said if it arrives in the last week of February, they can hold it but I'm thinking of getting a private plate so it doesn't bother me. The only thing is choosing a plate from the dealers choice that I like the look and sound of! But yeah I'm really excited, so I'm not sure if I can let them hold it, plus it should arrive around the 1st Feb and that's my birthday so that makes it even more exciting! Thanks for all the advice guys! It's build week three so next week, I'll get photos up as soon as I can! It's a 75hp 5dr Citigo Elegance in red with the all the option backs apart from the summer pack. It's also got the black vinyl racing stripe and the 4 alloys are being painted black by the dealer to save money ordering them in black from Skoda. I've been saving for a while now as I really like Skoda and have been working two jobs inbetween school to help save up. We also got a massive saving from the dealer as my parents have just purchased a brand new fully loaded Octavia estate! I'm also doing a project on it, doing minor upgrades to make it a bit more individual! If you look on the project journal forum, you'll see mine and I'll keep you updated on there. I've already ordered MTEC lights for all the front apart from the indicators which are Philips silver vision. I'm ordering a key cover to match the red paint and also I'm ordering my briskoda sticker tomorrow! Thanks Cam Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Don't worry I don't drink so that wont be a problem But yeah I've saved for a while and have a real passion for cars so it's gonna be my pride and joy! Thanks for the advice as well Damo, and I'll post some pics when I get it. I've also started a project journal as I'm gonna do some other mods so feel free to take a look at that too! Cheers Cam -
With the delivery of my Citigo approaching, I have already started buying bits for it as it is my first car and I'd like it to be a bit more unique. On order I have a 75hp 5dr Red Skoda Citigo Elegance with every option back except for the summer pack. I am also getting black alloys and a black stripe as well as the variable load floor. I have already ordered MTEC bulbs for the front end, apart from indicators which are Philips silver vision. I will start posting pics when it arrives of the changes I will be making, but I'm very excited! Cheers Cam

Hi guys, I'm new to driving this year being only 17. I passed my test last June and as a first car (since I've been saving for ages) I have ordered a brand new Skoda Citigo with most of the options. I'm really exited and just wanted to hear if anyone has any tips on owning a Citigo. But I just wanted to say hello to you all! Cheers Cam

Hi guys, just wanted to say hello on here as I am new to Skoda. I passed my driving test last June and have been saving for a car for a while. I decided on a new Citigo and have ordered it and I'm very excited. Just wondered if anyone on here has any advice on the Citigo or any cheap upgrades to get the most out of it like headlights? Thanks guys!
