  1. I went with buying a ridiculously expensive genuine one new old stock after some hesitation because ebay said it did not fit. It does fit and the part No 553a is clearly shown on the base. The pattern part I bought before does not fit even though to my eye it looks identical and ebay says it does. Thats all I know.
  2. thank s everyone, have a Vika seal now job done thanks again
  3. hm so mine definitely the 553A version, where to get?
  4. further research seems to find 2 part numbers 6U0201553 and 6U0201553A presumably mine is the latter and scarcer?????
  5. AS title 1.3 estate 1999 Bought this which is supposed to be equivalent but does not fit (wont tighten) Any advice please as to correct one. Attached photos of non fitting unit and the hole it is meant to go in https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/352042215926 Locking Fuel Tank Cap FOR SKODA Felicia Petrol or Diesel (1994-2001)
  6. Just an update for anyone reading in future the OE number above is correct I could get an OE part but bought this which is fine "VIKA 11030058601 seal ring oil filter, OE 047103487" https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/276643500063 Thanks everyone for the help. It is strange that ebay and the dealers all have the wrong part No on their system. I have a similar problem getting a new fuel cap but will start a new thread.
  7. Skoda Felicia 1.3 1999, cap seems loose, tried to buy a replacement but they all seem to come up to a different design any ideas please where to get the original. Photos show original on left and one i bought and which was supposed to fit on right.
  8. Ah that makes sense, a circlip, thank you
  9. thats good to know it looks like it is just an interference fit on the splines so possibly stuck on!
  10. The radiator fan on my 1999 Feicia 1.3 (non AC) is fine but with it becoming harder to get spare parts I took the chance of buying a "new old stock" fan motor to keep as a spare. I noticed however that the aftermarket spares that are available come complete with fan attached to motor. So the question is, if I ever need to use this motor will it be easy to remove the fan from the old motor and attach to the new or will I meet problems.
