  1. Nice metallic, probably better than the blues; wish I'd gone for that exterior/interior. Continue enjoying.
  2. Can I change my post to Elegance rather than Monte. :-)
  3. Yup. Dealer unscrewed and left it with me. I fitted oem armrest with bogstandard broad flatend long screwdriver; service was due shortly after and asked them to put back in then. Rear end of centre console needs to be pulled up, I chocked it up off the floor while positioning and screwing the metal internal part of the armrest into the pre-tapped holes in the floor. Plastic outer cover then just clips round the metal innards.. My recommendation is get the oem armrest and fit it yourself. I looked at the non-skoda rests and read they can sometimes flex, especially if just screwed into the plastic of the rear centre console. Hope this helps.
  4. Forgot to mention I've got a manual; as long as your wrist can bend and you've got a little strength in your fingers, no problems with handbrake on and off. Doesn't at all affect gear lever.
  5. Cheers guys. Would be interested to stick it on a RR. Dont suppose you know if dealers have facility to give me the outputs from their tech. I know they declined when asked to remap to 105 - yes , I know, should have bought the105 - was trying to be on a budget - and now regretting. In retrospect should have bought the Monte 105 DSG with one or two toys on. The 86 is still a cracking little engine tho'.
  6. Having moved from an avensis 2.2diesel 150brake 240lbft, the1.2turbo feels well capable for its displacement. Have readVAG quote minimum figures. Can anyone enlighten on this. What could the output be without mods. As an aside' has anyone had particular problems with corrida red chipping easily on the bonnet. Thanks guys
  7. Got one for sixty quid off eBay second hand but mint. Fitted in about one hour max. Only fiddly bit was the screw with a fancy head holding rear of centre console down , located in rear cup holder - dealer helped with this twice. Armrest is essential
