  1. Hoping for light assist and traffic sign recognition coding. ;-) P Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  2. Which bulbs did you use? Easy to change? P Sent from my LG-D802 using Tapatalk
  3. While cleaning the car at the weekend I noticed that my vRS has sidelights as well as DRL, as shown here... The sidelights seem a bit surplus to requirements and the colour of them looks a bit odd against the LEDs. Does anyone know if it's possible to disable them in VCDS or similar? TIA! P PS Still not worked out how to get to the indicator bulb to switch it for a silver one! :(
  4. If your bread and butter is tuning diesels... Why have you ordered a RS4? :-) Lovely car mind... P Sent from my LG-D802 using Tapatalk
  5. Now that i'd like to see! Ideally 2 DSGs with launch control so you know changes aren't a factor. P
  6. That doesn't look too painful, at least you don't have to climb around under the car to install. As mentioned, the 12V feed is a shame though. All modes as I understand it, although if somehow if could only be applied to Sport mode that would be fantastic. P
  7. It probably doesn't apply to *this* green. :-) P Sent from my LG-D802 using Tapatalk
  8. They look like they are in bags of some sort? P Sent from my TegraNote-P1640 using Tapatalk 4
  9. The details are now out on how to set the number plate lights to LED on VCDS. http://www.stemei.de/pages/coding/vw-golf-7/led-kennzeichenbeleuchtung.php Time to invest in VCDS methinks! P
  10. *guilty face* :-D P Sent from my HTC Butterfly s using Tapatalk
  11. Now I've actually read the relevant section of the manual, it seems 'Adaptive Lane Assist' tries to maintain the position in lane you establish. Works quite well. :-) P Sent from my HTC Butterfly s using Tapatalk
  12. They're rebranded Thule based on what I saw at the dealer... P Sent from my HTC Butterfly s using Tapatalk
  13. I personally think black with the black pack is *too* black, so if you really want the black pack I reckon red will look better. P
  14. The same camera seems to be used for traffic sign recognition too... P
  15. In which case I wonder if Lane Assist can be enabled... P Sent from my HTC Butterfly s using Tapatalk
  16. Hmm, ETKA definitely said the light assist camera. Does anyone have it specced and can confirm? P Sent from my HTC Butterfly s using Tapatalk
  17. I've been having a browse round on ETKA and it looks as if there is only one part number for the front facing camera be it for lane assist, light assist, traffic sign recognition or whatever. So my question is for VCDS gurus really... How feasible is it that the above features can be enabled via software? E.g. The vRS has Lane assist as standard but not light assist... Is there hope? TIA! 18. Will do! I have these ones - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/T10-501-501-T10-4SMD-1-SIDE-5050-CANBUS-4-SMD-1-SIDES-White-LED-Light-/170729812132 P
  19. As noted above these throw the bulb warning still, so i'll probably go down the genuine lamp + adaptor route. I've repurposed these as LED boot lights though and they look great. On a related note, what is the correct way to remove the number plate lights? It looks like they have a metal spring inside, but how should I get them out without risk of breaking them? Thanks! P
  20. Changing from a Mazda 3 MPS we wanted more space and more economy while still retaining some sportiness on ideally a flagship model. The VRS TDI fits the criteria perfectly, I like the design, the mk3 came just at the right time for our 3 yearly change. P Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  21. I was worried about this as we've just taken delivery of our first DSG and we have to reverse up an incline to get in our garage. Long story short, no problems, it works very well and no complaints from us! :-) P Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
