Welcome James. Should be no difficulty with the 1.0 in a Fabia. If it was something larger like a Karoq, I'd be more concerned.

I posted in this thread a few years expressing my dislike of the aluminum look. I have to say, having had it in my Superb for the past two and half years, it has grown on me now and the wood inserts do look a bit dated in comparison.

Welcome The DSG is great and once you're used to it, there's no going back to manual!

Depending on what you're coming from, you might find the 120 a little underpowered. Its fine for most driving but if going more long distance then 150 or 190. 150 is probably a slightly sweeter engine overall and almost as powerful as the 190 in the real world. If its DSG, then make sure the box has been serviced and works okay.

Welcome Mark, interesting move from the 6 cyclinder Beemer but Superb holds its own even compared something like that. Stop/start is the most frustrating part of the car! Can be deactivated alright with VCDS. I never got round to it you’ll get some advice in the main section on this.

I have over 100k kms on my two year old Superb and have had two previous Superbs with equally high mileage and never had any noticeable issues with them (all ivory). A regular wipe down with a damp cloth keeps them clean too.

Biggest change should be full LEDs. Apart from that, the changes are minor which is no bad thing as it lessens the impact of heavier potential depreciation if the outgoing and facelift models look similar.
