  1. Seems I have an Mib2 high (Colombus with SSD jukebox), but no OBDEleven or VCDS. I only have Car Scanner Pro. Without trawling through 26 pages, is there a way to modify my existing Satnav files to fix this bug (either editing 15 to 14 or 32783 to 32782), or do I have to find someone with the above scanners to do it for me? Mods - As there appears to be a workaround, a sticky with clear instructions would probably be a good idea. Cheers!
  2. No, I don't have DCC. So there's no specific self leveling shocks needed then. Thanks.
  3. Seem my rear shocks are on the way out. Is there any way to say what kind of shocks I have? 2.0TDI MY15 CR150 4X4 COMBI ECP gives me with "electronic suspension control" but what is this? Self-levelling, DCC or something else? They cost several times as much as regular shocks, and I don't know if I need them. Cheers
  4. I traded my MK2 Octy vrs in for an S3 a few years ago and was wondering if the climate switch modification still works? Yes, entirely different car but the controls look similar.
  5. Thanks for the link, I've visited that site previously, as they sell airo bars. I'll look into it.
  6. Hi, I'm having trouble finding a suitable pair of reasonably priced wing/aero roof bars for the above cycle carriers and my S3 estate. I've tried both offerings from Lidl - the Menabo Brio at £30 and the Menabo Tiger xl at £50. The former uses an incompatible, smaller T-track system than Thule's 20mm T-bolts, and the carrier aslo seems to have 11mm slot lugs which are too big to locate into the Tiger XL's 6.8mm slots. The carrier fits with no issue to my genuine Skoda Octavia hatch roof bars (which btw are for sale), but finding a match that isn't an overpriced Thule option for my S3 estate is proving difficult. I like the look of the Cruz Airo r bars, but can't find any information about the T-track dimensions anywhere in their documentation. Suggestions, anyone? Cheers, Fr0d

  10. Postage would probably double the asking price, unfortunately.
  11. From my former 2008 CR vRS £30 UK delivery via PayPal gift payment only.
  12. I doubt that would be economically viable. Price would rise to £20 to cover delivery costs, plus I would not be accepting returns, if for some reason you are not happy with your purchase. Up to you, though. Cheers, Fr0d
  13. Pre-facelift model, In Race Blue. £30 UK delivery via PayPal gift payment only.
  14. Rear windows and hatchback roller blinds. £25 - Collection only from Chesterfield.
  15. £25 UK delivery via PayPal gift payment only.
  16. Right, point taken. I guess I'd better sell them on then. A shame, as I'd just put new tyres on 2 of them.
  17. H rated, if I'm not mistaken. I've used them online calculators before and seen the difference in size. Just wondering if anyone has any first hand knowledge to share. Cheers
  18. Hi I have a full set of 205 55 16 winter wheels and tyres from my previous mk2 vrs sitting idle in storage. Can I fit these to my 4x4 S3 150 tdi without issue? I'm aware there will be discrepancies in the rolling radius (it's shot with 235 45 18 wheels) but as I'll be changing all 4 wheels, will it be that big an issue? Thanks
  19. Uniroyal rs3 are the softest tyres I've ever had on an Octavia. I'm not sure if there are many road tyres much softer than that.
  20. Hi, Does anyone know if these are the definitely the right items for a 2008 cr vrs please? https://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Skoda_Octavia_2.0_2008/p/car-parts/suspension-and-steering/suspension/shock-absorber/?635442550&1&b24d780260d4c35bc15206abe429ad377c2c0561&000925 I have 55mm struts. Thanks
