[Skoda Octavia (52plate, 2003) white sludge in oil filler cap]

white sludge is a sign of water mixing with oil, most likely head gasket but I could be wrong

and after a loud bang yesterday replace the front spring

posted the other day I was having issues with the battery fuse terminal heating up and melting, was advised to change the terminal and replace the thick black wire that runs from it to the alternator, so phoned my local skoda dealer this morning for a price, I know the terminal was going to be a bit pricey but nearly fell off my seat when I was told the cable was £50.53 ... so my question is this, can I have a custom cable made up and does anyone know the length and specs of this cable?

so I had the bonnet up on the car today while the engine was running, and I noticed a smell of burning plastic... the box on top of battery is getting rather hot and starting to melt, the black wire on the left hand side is getting rather hot and wanted to know what this wire is for and what could be causing it? there is also a white powder on the inside of the cover and not sure what has caused this to appear. any help on this would be great

there are mounted under the outside, wasn't sure about putting them there but when I seen how thin they where it seemed the right place, there is just enough space between the bottom of the light and the bumper to get these on, but after having them on the car a few weeks I would say "DONT DO IT" lol, I am planning on taking them off and looking to replace them already.....

I know you can order a basic set of Skoda ones from ebay but I was un-able to find any sellers that do ones with a VRS logo on it,So I have been talking to a supplier of puddle lights that can make up custom made ones.

I have made a couple of logos that I can have made up for me and have attached a few pics including the type of lights I am considering having made up.

What I really want to know is, Would any others on here be interested in these?

Please bear in mind I only playing about with the design and looking for some ideas or comments to make them better.

thanks for the advice, I did make sure they are the set that dims when, lights or indicators are being used and I managed to wire them into the ignition, and I might say so myself they look rather nice lol

I am looking for a wire(live) I can use under the bonnet for wiring in a set of daytime running lights? must be a wire that works through the ignition or an easy way to thread a wire into the car. any help would be great
