  1. Thanks! I'm looking at the brakes next as autoboxes are rare and not a lot you can do with them.
  2. I present to you a complete VCDS Guide originally written for the MK4 Seat Ibiza and Cordoba Models. This is still a work in progress and if you have any requests or additions, pop me a PM and I'll update the file! This has been compiled with months of work for a free distribution. This VCDS guide may also work with Fabia and Polo models, however, this is untested. >>>>>DOWNLOAD HERE<<<<< Version V1.0 Change Log - Initial Release Contents [01] Engine • Idle Speed – Raise/Lower • EGR Valve – Reduce Flow (Diesel Only) • Throttle Body Alignment – KW-1281 and KWP-2000 (Petrol Only) • Cruise Control – Retrofit Activation [02] Auto Trans • Coming Soon... 4. Cancel, sorry, didn't read the original post right :/
  5. Yes they do if they are the VW/Audi 312mm setup from the S3 etc.. (i.e they aren't the Cupra AP Racing Calipers) I have them on mine.
  6. The Valeo isn't rated as high as the standard Sachs/LUK setup, looks like you've gone over the max torque rating of the clutch kit.
  7. I know that the power on the Dyno sheet is crank power not wheel power, how awesome calculate that I don't know. GTB1756VK should spool to max BAR around 2100 to 2200rpm dependant on setup, so I thought that's normal, check out Darkside Developments turbo comparison chart listed in their GTB turbo kit - http://www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/products/darkside-gtb-turbo-kit-for-1-9-8v-tdi-engines.html Drivability wise, as I'm on relatively new stock clutch WOT only occurs after 3000rpm so I'm not making full use of the torque band until I can sort out an upgraded setup. It's very twitchy in the wet in 1st, 2nd and sometimes 3rd gear however, my Vredsteins seem to be putting the power down well.
  8. Should have had looked at your car first If I ever get chance to run it again on a different Dyno, I'll take an average
  9. On the day quite a few cars ran. Some that ran had results from other Dyno runs and there was minimal discrepancies. A Ibiza Cupra TDI ran on the day which had an upgraded turbo outlet pipe, de-cat and standard map which made 170bhp and 280ft/lbs. Looking at your Dyno graph, your peak torque is around 3000rpm whilst mine is made at 2100rpm. On my run at 3000rpm, my torque is ~330ft/lbs. What was the result of the Fabia's Dyno run just out of interest? I wonder if it's because it's produced really low down?

  11. Just stumbled across this thread! Great work and results. You must be the Polo Faboka mentioned to me when we discovered that my GTB1756VK setup wasn't getting enough air! The issue is now resolved with the help from Honda I got my Seat Ibiza TDi Dyno'd at Awesome GTI last Saturday and she made 230bhp and 410ft/lbs at 2.0Bar (high boost map). I've got a little smoke but nothing compared to yours!
  12. I'm a little lurker here on briskoda as I'm mainly active on SCN, however, I'm just letting you all know about the amazing quality service I've received from XMAN during my DIY Budget GTB1756VK project on my PD130 ASZ Seat Ibiza - http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=395773 As Hybrids are just 'too easy' and popular, I decided that 3rd Gen VNT technology with shed loads of boost was the route I was going to take. Being a secret fan of the work done by the lads at Darkside Developments, I wanted a piece of the TDI tuning pie, without spending HUGE amounts of my hard earned cash and softening the blow with gallons of Vaseline. So after months of research and reading reviews about the quality of turbos that XMAN provides, I decided to bite the bullet and purchased a GTB1756VK with a welded transverse manifold. I also bought the braided oil feed kit and GTB downpipe flange. The turbo arrived earlier than expected and so the project began. The initial fitting began well however, an adjustable actuator bracket was needed (also supplied by XMAN quickly) to move the actuator away from the driveshaft. I also purchased a oil return line kit which is required to reconnect back to the car. The stopscrew and actuator adjustment took a few trys to achieve the best spool without massive exhaust manifold pressure (EMP), but nothing testing. http://www.hidden-power.co.uk (Faboka) provided the mapping. Initial driving results? Seat thrusting, laugh out loud power which is delivered as a slap in the face! Surprises every boy racer, shrinking their manhood like a hamster in a snowstorm. Unwise passengers claw at the door cards when at full throttle and then are overwhelmed by giggles. Dyno result? Best run - 230bhp and 410ft/lbs Thanks XMAN!
  13. Where are you based? EDIT - Seen you're in Gloucester, little too far! GLWS, that's a real bargain!
  14. Hi all, Thought I would 'pop' over from another site which I'm active on with the same username to expand the wealth of knowledge which both sites can offer! I'm 24, currently driving a 2004 Seat Ibiza PD130 Sport and looking at upgrades in the future. Mods so far include; Stage 1 map (remapped by an unknown source) and is relative smokey so looking at another remap soon. 312mm S3 Brake Upgrade Whiteline RARB 16" Golf Steel wheels (hides the brakes) Polybush front console bushes Retrofit Cruise control and DIY EGR Delete Peace!
