My octy 3 did the same notified that I was due a service contacted the dealer and spoke to the service manager# who informed me that I did have a longlife oil and that I should have had the computer set at variable Went in and they without a quibble reset mine to variable SO contact your dealer and have it restet

Thanks to all I don't do many miles a year and cost difference is no problem. I was thinking of going to the 1.2 TSi but wanted to know if it is as powerful as the 1.4 TDi as I have only been used to diesel motors. Any help will be appreciated

Very true My MK2 bars didn't fit so had to buy Skoda bars to fit my MK3 hatch. Then I bought an estate Mk3 and had to buy new bars (Skoda) so the MK3 hatch bars are now in my shed Happy days

I too had probs with my suspension when I received my Octy 2.00 dsg on the first of Sept. I took it back to the dealer He checked it over and said all was ok BUT I found the ride much better They said all was ok /// WAS IT?? I will never know. But now is ok no probs

Just got a call from the dealer my car will be ready 10.00 Monday 1st September

Was asked by the dealer if I wanted it now, I said no I wanted a 64 plate Ant that's what I said I wanted when I ordered itSo it wont be picked up until late August to deliver to the dealer.

Well just had a call from Dealer that my car was built week commencing 28 July and is now at Grimsby WOW how is that for speed. So will get it with 64 plate

The factory will be on holiday from Monday 4th August for 2 weeks ,Hope they have a standby shift working to get yours done??

The shut down will be week 32 for 2 weeks according to my dealer

Ordered my Elegance 2.0TDi DSG candy white Estate with xenons and sunset glass on week 23 and the dealer told me it is being built week 31(28th July) Hope it is despatched before the shut down at the factory(4th August)
