I see... he's done approx 10k since last service approx 1yr ago. So oil change... Cambelt, water pump and brake fluid will be done in December. What's the extended scope bit??

Morning, I have had both the engine and DSG remapped to stage 1 by Evolution Performance in Nottingham. Engine remap performed on a RR. No idea about the DQ250... It is a 2.0 Diseasel

Couple of bits done recently... DSG remap to stage 1 - Amazing difference. Super quick changes and very smooth. Combined with the Engine remap... Superb! Rieger rear diffuser fitted. Custom exhaust made... originally wanted all 4 exits to work, but the Massive Ad Blu tank wasn't going to allow. So have a fakey exit and a real one. Upgraded the air intake to the Ram Air Pro version. I know it'll make minimal difference, I am aware of arguments for and against open cone/panel filters. But I like the sound, I like the look.

Cambelt is due this year. 67 reg. 47k miles. So I dont think it will have been touched.

Noticed recently that I get a bang sometimes when engine is revving hard and gear changes. Sure I read on here somewhere that an upgraded engine mount can cure this issue?? Anyone have a link or recommendation??

I made a set of flaps using the RallyFlapz universal kit. They are thick rubber, so have some flex. Easily made too.

I fitted the splitter, side skirts come unfinished, so they went to the body shop who also bonded them on. I did have the Maxton side-skirts... but they have to be screwed on... which meant drilling the sills. For me that was a no go.

Maxton are fine, I have one fitted to the Land Shark. Also have a gander at Reiger. I have the Rieger sideskirts too. You could just get the whole lot from Reiger.

I too get a bang occasionally when accelerating hard and the wheels spin. Had mine remapped. Thought it was the Traction Control.

That's not too bad actually... another mod to add to the wishlist!
