My dipped beam seems more yellow than white, main beam more of a whiter light.

Carpets feel dry to me now but the car suffers badly now from condensation. Dried all the wondows & sunroof with paper towels yesterday. Condenstation again this morning and each evening when I finish work. I had the Air Con was regassed in the summer & a new compressor fitted. but it's never been good at de-humidifiying. My previous vRS Octavia cleared the screen of any condenstaion in seconds. Even using the heated screen takes minutes to clear condensation on the winsdcreen. It clears a frosted screen OK (not exactly quickly) but takes a while with condenstation. The air con does get cold though. I know there's a dehumidifyer type part of the air con that can be changed. 🤬

£12 for 4 is cheap compared to the £80+ I was quoted, buy them.

I've not removed the carpets, it looks too much of a faff. I've had an electric blower heater in there for a few hours on numerous ocassions.

I've actually coated the area you mention with sealant, both side, in fact there's not much I haven't coated in sealant. I'm still getting a leak form somewhere. I've a feeling condenstation on the inside of the glass can run down onto the headlining then leak into the cabin somewhow. I also have a feeling that actually using the sunroof eventually breaks the seal between the front crossmember & side oieces due to flexing. I ran my car with no roof lining for 3 months & I could see the water ingress from the joint on the inside. All my drains are clear but I haven't secured the drain joints. I'm totally fed up with it all. It spoils a great car. Tiguans are affected the same, so it's a sunroof design fault.

Well, my EBay SD card arrived and works. It says "MIB2-GEN2 Navigation AS Europe 2023 (32GB) Europe ECE 2023/24" on the card so I'm assuming it's the up to date softawre. Checking on the Amundsen I get "5L0051236DB 2010 ECE AS 24/24" so agin I assume I have the updated maps.

No, but he does list all of Europe in the country list, so I guess it must me 32GB

When looking at these cards on EBay how does one know what size the card is? They mostly just state Europe 1 and a card serial number!

Looking on eBay there are Mib2 cards and Mib1 I’m lost with the posts above and can’t follow what can & can’t be used so I’ll stick with a card with Mib2 in the description.

Strange I thought I’d looked at all the options. In fact year I did but not Germany and Switzerland etc. decided I’d leave Spain off.

Thanks, I have an Amundsen . I’d like Spain & France on the same card. Only way to do this is to put the whole of Europe on BBC a 32GB card it seems.

One thing, may be a silly comment but if I buy one of the 32GB cards off EBay will it be compatible with my head unit and can they all be updated with current maps.

Great thanks. Rather daunting formatting my SD card, I have done it before but it was a while ago. It's taking forever to download but nowt I can do about that.

Well, I foolishly removed the tailgate grab handle in preparation for removing the tailgate cover. I've found it impossible to - a) remove the cover. b) get the grab handle back in place. And I've tried, believe me I've tried.

Well I thought I'd made inroads with the leaking sunroof, until today. I've had a Tentbox roof tent on for 6 months and the weather's been good. Tentbox off a couple of weeks ago and today the first real rain. Water drips from the roof lining above the mirror. I'm totally demoralised now. I've tried Captain Tolley, sealent, unblocking drains (they weren't blocked) and everything else I can think of. And no, I'm not putting the Tentbox on again for 6 months. This is ridiculous beyond belief.

Tried this and it came up with no results. The plug is quoted as M14 x 1.5 x 22mm not sure if the 1.5mm is Metric Fine pitch or the washer thickness. So the washer needs to be 22mm O/D x 14mm I/D x 1.5mm thick? Varous sizes on Ebay

Very interested I'm in Lancs. I'd be prepared to travel. What size fork mount does thi rack have? I think my ebike is 110mm PM sent.

One thing I have noticed is that the mesh fly net folds back on itself sometimes when the sunroof is shut. It gets soaking wet when it rains and I believe water soaks into the corner piece where there is a 1-2mm gap enabling water to drip on the inside.

Yes I agree. I've tried windscreen sealant & waterproof Gorilla glue brushed over the outside joint, but it's difficule to get to one part of it. I've taken the headlining out and the water ingress is now minimal, but I don't want any. I'll try again when the weather improves.
