  1. Connection points are either side in the scuttle area below the windscreen , they are long black connectors you can see them through the grille and the earthing point is central to the windscreen on the inside of the roof.
  2. Can someone point me in the direction of where the heated screen connection points are please.
  3. OK I'll pass this on to others who may try. I tried for ages on & off to try to get the pin out, all to no avail, until - I heated the pin & handle with a hairdrier, then then the pin can be removed using needle nose pliers. Heat again to help get it back in.
  4. I’ll resurrect this. Try as I might I can’t get the pin out. At least it’s only £5? Wasted. By the way I assume there was some sort of guide with the original post. Nothing there now.
  5. The rears may not be from the bonnet end, depending how they are fitted. From memory the spring is at the switch off end. A circle ⭕️ on the light.
  6. There’s a process to reset/calibrate the vent flaps. https://youtu.be/6xnnS4cANSk
  7. I do think though that due to the damp atmosphere the Captain Tolley isn't curing properly. The leak actually looks milky. The next step for me is black silicon sealant across the join to see if that helps. It hasn't actually rained that hard, just an overnight drizel & I was quite surprised to see it leak again. 😪 The starange thing is that I've spoken to the previous qowner who said he'd never had a problem with a leak althiugh he'd only opened the roof a couple of times during his years ownership.
  8. Well I've tried Captain Tolley and guess what, it still leaks. A new sunroof is out of the question, I don't have that sort of money.
  9. Why when I put my SD card in my Yeti Amundsen unit and I chose SD1 is there no music just a message saying "software update" This worked perfectly 3 weeks ago in my vRS
  10. I didn’t get it from a main dealer and at the time the sunroof was least on my causes. I suspected a window ajar for a while and I’d have expected the dealer to see the wet floor when they cleaned it ready for me to collect. In hindsight I should have gone back to them. I have a 3 month warranty but no mention of water ingress.
  11. One thing I have noticed, I too tried the pond method of blocking the drain to see if water drained away in another area. I left it for 45 minutes or so and the level stayed the same. No water onto the headlining. It makes me think that when the sunroof is shut it puts pressure on a joint or crack and the sunroof then leaks.
  12. Can anyone recomend a place to buy the syringes?
  13. After 2 weeks of ownership the sunroof is leaking wetting the headlining and draining into the footwell on the passenger side. It's not the drain pipe. I've checked that by securing a hose onto it to eliminate the standard connection. No, the water is dripping inboard of that, see below. Can anyone guide me in the right direction of the likely cause of the leak.. No I'm not going to replace the whole sunroof at £2400, no I'm not going to tape it up etc. Constructive comments only please.

I’ll resurrect this thread because try as I might my visor will not clip out. Yes the rear edge drops down but that’s it. It will not unclip!
  15. After watching that I wouldn’t use a tuning box or get a remap to be honest.
  16. 😋
  17. I've not had a problem putting LED bulbs in either of my Yetis or my Octavia vRS.
  18. How's thigs pal. Still got your G.S.? Shaun
  19. Passenger carpet wet.
  20. Well, after 2 years of Octavia vRS ownership I swap over to another Yeti today. A Laurin & Klement non the less. 😊 The vRS is a fantastic car, but I always yearned for another Yeti.
  21. If you'd read the original post, 1 of the glow plugs is more expensive than the others. As it turns out it's number 3, counting from the left. This one has a pressure sensor on it, the other 3 don't. Now who's the smart arse!
  22. Give us a clue then! Which one is the more expensive?
  23. And how pray tell does one do that?
