  1. Recently when my brother (who got his license a month ago) drives, when he is at a stoplight and releases the clutch a little so the car won't go down when it's a bit steep, and puts into the 1st gear and gives gas (as usual to get the car moving :P) the gear sometimes pops out for no reason. This never happened when my brother first got the license, only after a couple of weeks. Did he screw up the transmission or what could be the possible problem here?
  2. The rear wiper is an optional addition by the way
  3. I think the 8.5x19 ET35 will slightly come out in the front, I have 8.5x18 ET45 all around, and they fit really nicely, flush with the arch in the front. I could add about 10-15mm spacers to the back, but I can't be bothered with it since it already looks very nice.
  4. Sorry for the late reply hah Theres a picture of the car with the rims fitted
  5. I tinted mine yesterday, they look perfect! I used 25%, I will update this post with some more pictures of it soon.
  6. New rims + rear windows tinted Vredestein Ultrac Cento 225/40R18" InterAction Saphire silver 8,5x18" 5x112 et45
  7. From the album: Skoda Superb

  8. Sorry for the late reply, gave up a bit on this post haha :P Anyways, I ordered some nice rims, 8J ET35 with 225/40r18 Vredestein Ultrac Cento tyres. Must pick them up tomorrow I'll post pics when I have them fitted!
  9. Hey, what width + offset rims do I have to get for my Superb? I don't want the rims to be pushed inside, I want them flush with the bodywork. Is 8J ET35/8.5J ET40 good?
  10. Vredestein Ultrac Cento, they're amazingly quiet from what I've heard.
  11. The reason why I let my son change all the filters, is because it's VERY simple. You have to take 6-8 screws off the top of the oil filter, take the new one, put a new seal and all the included things, drop it back into place and screw it tightly again. So far I've had absolutely no problems, it's very easy to change all the filters for a VAG car. If someones car lost all of it's oil, it probably wasn't just because of the oil filter. There are quite many stupid dealers out there who don't know to change air filters :P
  12. Your dealer is ripping you off... badly.. I bought my Skoda Superb 2.0TDI's best oil available + all filters (including oil filter) and my 15-year-old son changed them all in less than 15 minutes. It cost me 110€ total, with a discount 90€.
  13. Lowering or standard? Standards shouldn't be a problem, after all they're like the ones in the car except new :P For some lowered springs, I've heard that you need new shocks but don't count on me for that. I myself haven't lowered my car.
  14. Come on people! Post your cars and rims specs! :P Thinking of buying some nice rims for my Skoda Superb II. Thinking of something like these http://www.vannetukku.fi/gt1-black-machined-face-cb-725-p-44921.html#koot
  15. They're photoshop, check these spyshots. http://paultan.org/2014/12/24/skoda-superb-front-rear-sketch/ They're exactly the same background and angle, just that in those other photos the headlights and such are photoshopped.
  16. Am I the only one who is very excited to see the interior?
  17. Are they flush with the bodywork, or how far are they in? I want to buy some new rims, preferably 18x8J Offset 35. So that they're flush with the bodywork, I would probably lower it 30/40mm too.
  18. What size wheels are those? How wide and what ET?
  19. /bump About to buy new rims I want them to be flush with the arch, but of course I don't want them to touch, or go over. I'm thinking of 18x8J ET 35. Probably could buy -30/-40mm lowering suspension too.
  20. In my honest opinion, from what I've heard. Your DSG might go puff in a short time.
  21. Are you sure that is the correct size? Since from some other posts I have seen other guys who have put 8.5 x 18, ET 45. And they sit perfectly, even a little bit inside the arch, with lowered springs.
  22. Hey, I want to buy some new rims, preferably ones that will lose some of the arch gap and lower offset. I'm thinking of something like 225/40/18 8.5J OS/ET 30
