Hello all,
The brochure says all rapids get the tyre pressure monitoring system.
I can't remember seeing the button when we looked at the car and ours is still about 4 weeks away.
Where is the button? In my polo, it's in the glovebox.

Hello All, I've ordered my car without the boot organiser bits.
Could someone give me the approximate dimensions of the little cubby holes that are in the boot closest to the back?
Ebay have some neat little storage bags that are made from the same sort of carpet that lines the boot and have Velcro fixings. They come in several sizes and I'm wondering if one may fit snugly into a corner.

Poor wheel! I was wondering if the wheels would be easier to touch up than regular alloys due to the black and shiny metal.

My dealer got back to me today and said it was due to a shortage of sensors at the factory that caused the issues.
He said everything is back to normal now, so any new builds should have the factory sensors.
He said they won't know about mine 100% until the car arrives. ( it's due to be built in two weeks time) so he is obviously not completely confident in his statement that all is normal again.

The interior is a direct copy of the current Polo, looking at their gallery. Interesting.

Thanks for the pictures. The seats look great.
I will just have to work out how to fit a seat protector to the back, for my daughters grubby feet.
The golf has a normal metal pole headrest which the straps go around.
I shall investigate ebay.... 8o)

Hello All,
Does anyone have any decent pictures of the non red Oynx sports seats?
I ordered them for my car as I didn't want any red against the white car, but have never seen the seats in the flesh.
You get a little look from the brochure, but it's not great.
Can anyone take pics of theirs for my delight while I wait for my car?

Excellent. It may have been the other one, as mine also came from Germany and was one of two.
Buy it quick if you haven't yet. It is rather cool, plus all the other ones on ebay had the usbs pointing upwards, which is not good for the rapid as I think they would soon fill up with crumbs in its position next to the driver.. Lol
Ps the service was very good from the ebayer.

With just two weeks to my cars "build week" I've splashed out on some accessories already. Lol
I tried to get the charger via my dealer, but was told it has been discontinued! Had to get it from ebay.
It's quite cool. I checked its operation and the ring around the skoda logo, glows white when the power is on.

Hello all,
I read a post that said the rear internal light didn't come on when you opened the doors. It was just a manually operated light.
Is this still the case with the latest production cars? It seems odd design.
(Don't have mine for a while get)

I've just emailed my dealer to confirm mine will be factory fitted.
I checked the brochure and it clearly states Factory Fitted Optional Equipment.
Will report back, but for those who have already got retro fitted ones, I would suggest you complain.

How long did you have to wait for the car?
When we signed up to ours, the delay was 3 months, so the car does not exist yet. I would expect our order to have the sensors added during manufacture.
If your order had already been made and was on route to the uk, then that would explain why they will be retro fitted.

This was my first Skoda. (Hand painted by my good self) it was my first car.
It was not the best car, in fact I never bought another skoda until now...

Excellent, I'm glad about the wheels. Being the family car, it seemed crazy to order the SE when the Sport was the same price and included the rear tinted windows which I wanted.
