I have the original Bridgestone Turanzas on the front and have just about done 20K. Was hoping to get them rotated but i think they are past that stage now. I thought this was quite good tyre wear as i like in Milton Keynes with all them roundabouts!!!

Sorry if this is a stupid question but do all the replacement air filters (Green, K & N, pipercross) need regular oiling to be effective or are some of them dry. Thanks

I would say slightly expensive, dealers in bucks area quoted between £210 and £265

best Mpg was 68 traveling on 25 mile commute from work when engine was warm. Worst was 29 around the roundabouts of Milton Keynes

Then called another dealer who said this is rubbish, 20K would be £102 and would include a 45 min inspection to check exhaust, brakes etc. and would not void warranty, so i guess you take yr chances

I have just contacted pilling skoda, milton keynes who have told me that for a 20K service it will be £294 which includes an annual inspection which has to be completed inorder to not invalidate the warrenty. I explained that the 10k and annual service was completed in sept 06, I was told this didnt matter and its part of the skoda service schdule to complete an annual inspection at the 20K mark. Does anyone know if this is right as it seems slightly strange to me. Also i think that £294 is quite expensive, what have others paid for a 20k service???? and have you had just an oil and filter change Thanks

I had this issue with my clutch pedal, it went to the dealers twice and they lubricated the clutch but still creaked. Then i traced the creek to part of the underside of the steering column, i tightened two screws and the creek was gone. I think its two pieces of plastic in the dash rubbing, not sure why this happened when using the clutch though

I pay £69.50 for DL in Milton Keynes. I have handed my notice in and they offered me a corporate membership for £50 per month if i continued. I still think that is steep considering the number of other quality gyms in MK

My brakes seem fine in terms of power and feel but the rear squeak is really beginning to annoy me. It only happens at low speed. Am i right in thinking that there may be a brake modification the dealers do to fix the rubbing. if there is does anyone know what fix as a dealer i spoke to months ago noted that it was a common problem and there was no fix. Thanks for that, am planning to rotate the front and rear wheels next weekend so will give the brakes a good clean out with the pressure washer and some brake cleaner. Hope this does the job as its becoming very annoying.

Hi I have had an ongoing rear brake squeak for the last 5K of my fabia Vrs. It happens at low speed when stuck in traffic and is especially bad when going round left hand corners. The sound goes at approx 35 mph and goes when the handbrake is applied or the brakes applied. This is beginning to become very annoying and a little worrying as don't want to cause excessive brake wear. Whenever the dealer has taken for test drive they cannot reproduce the noise. Does anyone have any ideas pls??? or suggestions Thanks

Hi Yeh i believe this is completely normal, My vrs has always done the same and i have owned it 9 months. Slightly less smoke with pd160 air intake though.

My clutch was creeking and had been to the garage 3 times for lube. I have just tightened the two screws and all creeking has stopped. Cheers Matt

Hi all This is my first post, I have a 55 plate fabia Vrs and the drivers seat showed signs of fraying at approx 5000 miles. I took it to the Milton Keynes dealer who agreed to recover the whole seat without question. This was 3 months ago now!!! When i contacted them i was told its a specialist part made to order. Is 3 months a comparable lenght of time in other peoples experience with this part????
