Hi, Got quoted £56 + fitting at home for a budget tyre for that size and was wondering if that sounds about right? Also does £30 for a repair at home also sound about right? Any input will be appreciated. Thanks

Hi, I initially painted them red with Hammerite smooth red and now i want to paint them black. My question is, for best results, whether i need to strip off the red paint first (and if so then how do i do that) or just paint on top of it? Thanks

Okay thanks for that, i'm not looking to get anything bigger than 15-18mm so i'll look for extended locking bolts as well. Mine is a 1.2tsi monte so that means i would need M14x1.5 42-45mm?

Got a question regarding the bolts, do they come with the spacers? And does it come with an extended locking wheel nut bolt to stop thieves from stealing the wheel? Cos the stock one won't fit anymore i'm guessing as it's gunna be too short right?

How much did you get the springs for (+fitting) and spacers?

I've been contemplating spacers for a while now, i think the wheels are quite far in and can do with like 10cm at least imo

Probably would be Amundsen+ or Columbus, but make sure they have DAB and Bluetooth when you're buying one. I think you might need a new aerial as well and a Bluetooth system to connect to the new headunit that will go under your seat but hopefully someone more clued up will explain about that...

Yeah exactly. Very disappointed with the customer service i've received so far, puts me off buying another Skoda in the future. I remember when i was first looking for a Fabia and rang a dealer up asking to arrange to view one and he said he'll ring me back later on in the day so i was waiting and nothing. Next day i had three missed calls from him and 2 voicemails and i just ignored it and thought "too late mate"

It's been 6-7 occasions from two different Skoda dealers where i've had a query or my car has been in and they are like "we'll get back to you" or "leave it with us and we'll call you back" and nothing...even complained to a manager and he was like "i'll get so and so to call you and speak to you about the issue as well" and again..nothing. Very bad customer service if you ask me, maybe it's just my luck but these dealers are all talk "yeah we're all about customer service blah blah" b****cks.

Got mine from hids-direct.co.uk for £40 and they're a big improvement, got 18 months warranty on them as well and they don't affect Skoda's warranty so it's all good

I got quoted £165 first then £136 by a Skoda retailer so £105 odd is very good..
