Will ultrac pro tyres fit my car? 225-40- 19 they seem to be really good value for money

Had a look at the services available seemed pointless on the 2020 model to me. My wife has a 2023 model with connect which is pretty useful but it expires soon don’t think we will be renewing it.

My 2020 1.5 Edition is displaying the same symptoms. I thought it was something blocking the drain hole in the tailgate. I would be interested in any other comments members have.

Forgot to mention I was driving my wife’s 2023 Sportline not my 2020 Edition!

I was driving on an unlit motorway last night. I wasn’t impressed with the matrix light’s constant changing and leaving a black square area beyond the beam. I found it irritating and distracting. Maybe I am not using them correctly.

Having the same problem we collected a new sportline last week. Android auto works after connecting through the cable and will then work intermittently wirelessly then won’t connect again.

Took delivery of my wife’s Karoq Sprtline 1.5 TSI. It’s so much more responsive than my 1.5 TSI Edition it’s like driving a different model of car. The acceleration is seamless I wonder what changes Škoda have made to the engine. I’m envious I prefer hers to mine. My car has a couple of additional features like blind spot assist and better navigation, leather etc that I missed whilst driving though!

Sorted it with OBD11 changed the throttle pedal to linear in adaptations so much better instant response now.

Bit too technical for me! I have a 2020 edition with crater alloys what alternative size would I be able to fit without changing the wheels. There is an issue with kerbing the wheels with low profile original tyres. Thanks. It’s my wife’s sport line that’s arriving next week.

Our Sport Line in meteor grey is arriving at the dealership next week with Vega alloys so no plastic inserts! Specified on order. Quoted 12 months for delivery but only 3 months.

Just noticed this post. Does this work with a year 2020 1.5 TSI or is it only for later models.

My Octavia 4 was 1.5 tsi manual 2020 as is my Karoq. It’s not the handling that bothers me it’s just the lack of responsiveness and more laboured gear change. Like I said previously it might be my imagination! Interested in the pedal box though anyone got any comments regarding the improvement after fitting one?

Had my Karol 1.5 tsi for a few weeks now and have noticed the gearbox is not as slick as my Octavia 4 tsi I traded in for my Karoq. I have also noticed that the acceleration is not as good as the Octavia. Is this my imagination?

You are right! The first cable I tried wouldn’t connect so I bought a better quality one and everything is fine now.

I had a think about this and bought a short cable to connect my phone and put it in the sliding storage area where the 12v socket is. I can’t see any advantage to the carlinkit apart from plugging the cable into the phone every time I use it. Thanks for the comments though!

We didn’t get the option to have one from stock maybe it was because of the colour my wife wanted, Meteor Grey.

My wife has ordered a new Karoq sportline the lead in time for delivery is 12 months!

RRG Škoda Bolton and Rochdale have plenty of Karoq’s in stock look on line some good offers.

Just traded my 1.5 tsi Octavia 4 in at a main dealer. I had no problem with the engine. I have had a 2020 Karoq Edition tsi for a week now no problems at all with kangarooing if the car has been serviced it should have had a software update to correct the fault. Mine was on a yearly service plan it had only done 10k and has had 3 services which was a bonus!

Posted just now Changed my Octavia 4 Estate for a Karoq 1.5 edition in black last week. Polished yesterday and was surprised to see that it wasn’t Black Magic in colour but Black Crystal which pops blue metallic in the sun. That was a bonus it’s a lovely colour. I am impressed with the Karoq it’s fully loaded apart from wireless android auto which is a pain I suppose I will get used to that though!!

I have the connect services but nothing ever comes through. I have see others in the uk on the forum saying that they have had updates. Does anyone know the procedure for accessing them please?

Am I missing something? Lots of members refer to over the air updates. I have never been notified of one for my car. Is there a way to receive them?

That sounds quite feasible to me. I am going to scan the car with obd11 tomorrow to see if there are any faults with the doors.

The keys were on the front seat it was a pay at the pump facility
