  1. Ok thanks, I do 25-35k year.. so generally it's good for it... I would say about every 50-150 miles between regens which is almost every day.. I'll try some cleaner stuff and give her some loud pedal (once up to 100 oil temp of course)
  2. My car seems to be doing regens loads recently... Is this because of the mileage on the car? (109k) I assume that the dpf has more ash in it so it will block up quicker? Car has been amazing, and only problem ever was the water pump. When the dpf finally needs replacing one day, would I be right in thinking the regens will be less often again? Thanks. (Proud to be on the original brakes too!)
  3. I am on 107k, still on original 340's.. I can't quite believe it myself!!
  4. Hi, Interesting to see the outcombe.. so how are things now? What did you do to rectify the problem, just change pistons? Thanks.
  5. Think your find it is a chain on the 1.2 (like my wife's Fabia)
  6. Keep it! The way i see it, if someone offered you that car for 10k (or whatever the balloon is) you would think it would be a good deal!!
  7. I almost shed a tear removing mine.. I had to get the new one on quick, as looking at the state of the bumper after removal is horrid! Allow at least an hour...
  8. Got you.. I see Larkspeed do B8 shortened "Comfort" shocks that are green not yellow.. I put the pro kit on for looks and not so much handling, so comfort sounds good!
  9. Thanks for the replies. You are right, they are available, I have found them now on a desktop PC, I couldn't scroll down far enough on my mobile to oct 3 combi, so though it was just hatchback availability.. Recommend any uk suppliers for Bilstein B6? Also, am I damaging the std shocks by running it like this, or just unpleasant when loaded?
  10. Hi all, my vrs diesel estate dsg (64 reg) has now done 92k, and had the pro spring kit fitted around 5k ago.. However, when I have a far bit of weight on board (airport run etc), it does crash a bit into bumps etc, I am trying to work out if I can get some better shocks/dampers... everyone seems to rate bilstein, but the website doesn't list anything for the Octavia 3? Not sure if the springs have meant the current original dampers can't cope, or they are just tired..? Any help appreciated! PS, Other than the water pump failure at 85k, it has been faultless, great car.
  11. The alignment is expensive because of the lane assist I would guess.. I believe it has to be tied in with camera calibration..
  12. 4 x 19" Extremes in really good order are back up for sale, after deciding I will keep with 18's after all.. around 2.5-3mm all round, 2 x Pirelli, 2 x continental £580, Southampton.
