  1. You could do the Poole park one by the model boat lake :| :p
  2. Hope you and any passengers are all okay. Its quite a shock being caught in the middle like that.
  3. I would be interested to hear what any of our resident insurance people have to say on this matter as years ago a friend of mine was shunted into traffic whilst waiting [clutch in ] at a red light and his insurance company kicked up a hell of a fuss because they said he should have had his handbrake on.
  4. Hi Paul, and welcome.Everyone should drive a Mondeo at least once in their life,it was one of the few cars that Clarkson,Hamster and May all liked....
  5. I've used the second one you've listed there, the quisckshine detailer spray.I pulled a face and feigned gratitude when a relative of mine gifted me a bottle.but having used it on 5 occassions now I'd have to say its incredibly easy to use and if you put another layer on ,the following morning, gives a lovely glossy and mirrored finish that will keep the dust and dirt at bay for at least 3 weeks at a time. I've no idea what it costs but if you are looking for a low effort result that wont take up much of your time....its a good'un.Only downside to it is the spray nozzle is a tad splattery in its distribution.
  6. One of the best blue metallics I've seen so far :| Sent from on "the throne" using Crap-A-Talk
  7. Are you talking about the 500ml simoniz wash and polish quick shine detailer ?
  8. Hi and welcome to the forum,any photo's ?
  9. Nice to see there's an ashtray for the kiddies,it'll stop the little buggers stomping their fags out on the rear carpets. :peek: * *...on second thoughts...is it an ashtray or a crack-pipe holder ?
  10. I suppose it will be on some kerching ching pay channel like Sky.....if so,the answer is no. :peek:

  13. I think the older Skodas are a good secondhand buy, providing they've got a service record.Sadly since VW started pressing Skoda for higher production numbers quality over the last few years seems to have suffered right across the range, though to be fair to Skoda they can only build with the sometimes outdated components they are forced to use by VAG on some models.I'd have another second hand one in a heart beat, but I wouldn't even consider buying new, though again...to be fair to Skoda I wouldn't buy new from any other manufacturer..buying new makes no economic sense to me in these tines we live in now.Until recently I've been used to old school UAZ,Lada's and Trabby's....i just don't need or wan't tech toys and flashing lights in a car, they are too much of a reliability worry/distraction.Modern car ECU and Canbus systems are being asked to do far too much these days.I wish VAG&Skoda would just go back to building a good, basic well screwed together car.
  14. Guys ,I'd love to,but I have no tech or internet skills whatsoever, nor do I own a Smart Phone,I-pod,MP3,digital camera or any other stuff along those lines.Until recently i've spent most of the last 8 years living all round Europe/Eastern Europe with no computer access just me a couple of solar panels and an old Sony World Radio.I can just about handle a sat-nav at a push, even programming and operating a freeview tv box is a glorious mystery to me...lol I wouldn't know how to copy, crop,or paste /post a photo.......I'm a dinosaur roaming an unfamiliar landscape of flashing lights,LED's and ear splitting electronic bleeps.I'll have to pass on this one,my apologies to you all. :p
  15. :peek:  £6295.......thats an awful lot of pies. :p
