Have just been informed today that my car is at sea, somewhere between Rotterdam and Grimsby. According to the Dealer though it is likely to be around the middle of April before I get it due to the large volume of Skodas coming in to the Port.

I would take a look at Carfile.net. Less than 20k for the spec you want. Have bought my wife's last 2 Qashqais from them and saved thousands over my local Nissan Dealership. Pick up my new Fabia Estate shortly with a 11.5% saving.

I also got a decent discount on my Fabia SEL Estate (11.5%).

Hi, how long was it between placing your order and picking the car up? I'm also interested in what the Dealer will say regarding Samsung and Mirrorlink. I have the Galaxy S5 and should pick my car up in 3-4 weeks.

There is every chance they will be. It's my first Fabia for 10 years, although my 6th Skoda. Looking forward to picking it up.

Good to know. It'll be interesting to find out what mpg you are getting after a few weeks. I know Skoda quote 58mpg which is fantasy, however I hope to get at least 42-44. Used to own a 6 month old Fabia VRS in 2004 which I had for 2 years and regularly got 52mpg. 9 years on, I still regret selling it.

Hi, I have just joined the Forum, having ordered a new Skoda Fabia Estate 1.2 SEL. It is in Denim Blue and I have kept the optional extras to a minimum. Silver roof rails, sports seats and a spare wheel. Rep told me on Saturday that it has a build week commencing 9 March so hopefully I'll have it by the end of the month. This will be my 6th Skoda, having started off in 96 with a Felicia.
