  1. It maybe that the TT already has and MPH and KPH scales on the speedo. To satisfy construction and use regulations there apparently has to be both MPH and KPH readings available to the driver and as the Skoda only has MPH markings on the speedo the digital KPH display satisfies that requirement. Though why Skoda didn't make it easily switchable is a mystery. http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1986/1078/made Jim
  2. You have to hold the setup button in for a few seconds to get to the service menu where you can then see the firmware version. See this you tube clip: Jim

    Yeti L&K

I think this is a fault on their website; it only seems to mention the columbus system if you browse the mobile site: http://m.skoda.co.uk/vehicles/yeti/skoda-yeti-outdoor/laurin-klement Browsing the full desktop website: http://www.skoda.co.uk/models/yeti-outdoor and clicking on the photo of the touchscreen states: Jim
  4. I think both Urrell and Anzio's last posts are correct - in that it is configurable in the Maxidot: Jim
  5. Probably because the car has already told them (more politely) to do that! Jim
  6. As langers2k said there is a difference in circumference between the 2 sizes of 1.14% so that will cause a difference in mileage reading of 1.14%.Therefore it would give a difference over 10,000 of about 114 miles. Of course that would cause a difference in MPG calculations too - so if for example you were getting 45 mpg with the larger wheels, it would read about 45.5 with the smaller wheels. (because it would think you have travelled further with the smaller wheel.) Jim
  7. Unless you need to read it to find out how to bring it up on the screen Jim
  8. It may be lower at the front to give it a more of a 'wedge' shape for streamlining, which would give it less ground clearance, but the rear not lowered as much - hence the overall height may not be reduced as much? Jim
  9. This un-scientific test seems to show that generally increasing the wheel diameter while keeping the tyre circumference and width constant results in a worsening of MPG: (note the 17x8" 18x8" results) http://www.caranddriver.com/features/effects-of-upsized-wheels-and-tires-tested Jim
  10. Will it have 17" wheels instead of the Greenline's std 16"? Jim
  11. Apologies if this has already been posted here but I haven't seen it before: http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/skoda/88859/skodas-large-suv-spied-testing-again Jim
  12. Also have a read right through this thread, there are a few addition tips (excuse the pun!) http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/317374-middle-rear-seat-folding/ Jim
  13. The Yeti user's manual has a section on running in a new engine: Jim
  14. To be fair as well as a new pollen filter, you probably need the the system to be disinfected (as you say not the sealed system though!). You can disinfect it yourself easily and cheaply - I have done it on my previous car several times and it certainly works. You need an 'aircon bomb' which is a one shot aerosol. Set the car's aircon on in 'recycle' mode, then fire the aerosol off - leaving it in the car with doors and windows shut for a few minutes (make sure you get out though!). Result - a fresh smelling aircon system. Heres a couple of examples of aircon bombs/cleaners: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Holts-Pro-Tech-Air-Con-Cleaner-150ml-Fresh-Lemon-/281399223683?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4184b36583 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-Air-conditioning-cleaner-air-con-bomb-one-shot-cleaner-disinfectant-/201093495590?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2ed21b3b26 Jim
  15. Hi, If it's like mine it's a flying lead in the cubby on the top middle of the dash.... HTH EDIT: Meant to say also that you probably need adapter lead(s) depending on what you need to plug it into. Jim
  16. frglee was expecting to order his car in 2012! This is a very old thread.... Jim
