  1. Yes, I’ve found this. I thought I could use the inbuilt SIM card on my 2020 superb estate, seems you have to pay extra for data and it’s not cheap. I will yse my mobile sata (unlimited) instead
  2. First long-ish journey in my supern estate DSG 150ps. (Onky got 52 miles on the clock) it’s a little damp underfoot,Mobutu was surprised that at mist starts, either at traffic lights or junctions, I get sone wheel-spin. Is this normal? car is in eco mode, not hammering it either, far too early in its life, just normal acceleration
  3. The manual doesn’t actually say. I have a 2020 superb SEL amundsen system with built in sim card when I go to media and click on inet and search for stations ut vine cackle with “internet stations not currently available” should it be available via the inbuilt sim ir only through your phone hotspot?

  6. Just set mine up. logged into my Skoda, with my user account setup, then went out to the car, but with only two keys as per screen instructions. In my Skoda app, put the vin number by photographing the vin plate then it was just a case of waiting for the car to register the two jeys (not the third) then made myself primary user. then put the MY Skoda app on the wife’s phone, and setup her own account. opened the car with the second key plip, went through the screen “setup another user” again photo the vin, this time only the second key already used on the primary, setup, but made sure my primary key wasn’t with me. then inputted the S pin if wife’s abd tgat was it, both prinary and secondary setup. third key not setup,Mobutu tgat will 9nly be a backup anyway
  7. Well, after having my superb estate SEL for 24 hours, it seems Skoda have made some changes and enhancements to the car. CD Player and SD card slots gone, but built in SIM card with free 1 year internet added USB C slot added to front. And removable torch removed with blanking pkate now in its place
  8. I’m new to all of this. And not yet understanding it sll can this be done with obdeleven? I have the A5 camera and adaptive cruise control plus lane change assist on my 2020 SEL before I buy an obdeleven, I wanted to see if it woukd be worth it thanks
  9. Is there a place where I could put in my VIN number to find out what my car was built with? ive been able to do this before on Land Rover cars, is there a Skoda version? thanks

So, SEL, with driver electric seat. followed instructions in manual (Apart from the fact that the buttons are the other way around to the picture in the manual) I set my seat and mirrors, pressed the set and within 10 secs, the mem position 1 and...nothing. Seat still gas the original seat pisitions before I bought the shar. it does set with the personalisation, but can’t understand why it won’t take the settings as in manual? anyone had this?

  17. Little confused with the superb online configurator it states Adaptive cruise control (without follow to stop)? those with adaptive cc, what does this. Evan to it’s operation? with the Octavia, it woukd cone to a stop when traffic stops in front and tgat was 5 years ago!
  18. Stop start doesn’t work when the engine us cold, it’s one of the areas when it doesn’t work, tgat and when in sport mode
  19. Ooh! My old job!. tgecwsy these badges are produced is: sheet of aluminium with adhesive sheet on rear, screen printed, tgen stamped out from sheet. this is then coated with either a thick coat of PU, or sprayed. tge cheaper way of doing it, is yiu coat the Pu then stamp out. that causes a edge of the Pu to not be sealed and moisture can get in there if the gap between the badge and the cap is large and corrosion of the aluminium occurs
  20. So, reviving an old topic, what are people using in their superb’s for wireless charging today?
  21. Cheers all, yes it was the cabin pre heat as the DST is vanilla it doesn’t have heated screen or heated steering wheel
  22. I think I know the answer 😟 re cabin pre heat, is this only available on the IV? Is it available through software mod? waiting for my vanilla SEL in the next couple of weeks, but it doesn’t cone with heated windscreen or heated steering wheel. many thanks

There are also plans to further improve the user experience and user interfaces, and the MyŠKODA App will also be released in other markets soon.
  24. I’m waiting for my Superb estate SEL. A question for those who know the car. As it’s already built and is vanilla stock, safe for space saver spare wheel, I can’t add anything to the car. the SEL cones with adaptive Cruise control, but traffic sign recognition us an extra. It also says only available with Lane Assist, Aldo an add on. Are either of these a software system? Can either be implemented with a VCDS reader? many thanks
