  1. Thanks! I will also try the trick next time to at least confirm it's the same exact thing.
  2. Hi, I own a Skoda Superb Mk4 2.0 TDI, 193 HP since one month already. I'm quite happy with it and, so far, I have not encountered any of the software issues that other mk4 owners reported. However, I want to report an issue that manifested sporadically from day 1: there is a creaking noise around the driver's door that manifests even on very gentle bumps. I think it sounds like rubber on metal and hence I suspect the door seals. Initially I thought it's the locks which I have lubricated (service intervention) but with no luck. One thing I wanted to add: it doesn't always manifest. It's rather 50% of the time. I found someone on the facebook Skoda Superb Mk4 club who I think complained about the same thing. He also suspects the door seals, especially since he said the noises went away for a while after using gummi pfledge: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/174ReqUmvF/?mibextid=wwXIfr Did any of you encounter this and if so... what solutions seemed effective? Thanks!
  3. Update: after 2 hours spent in dealers's service, they couldn't find anythintg and the problem didn't show up again. They did some reset procedure (whatever that means). Already did 1000 km with no further issue.
  4. The alert was only for the driver seat (my seat). And there were anyway no objects on the other seats.
  5. Hi, While picking up my new Superb Mk4 L&K TDI 193 CP, while driving to the nearby gas station, driver seatbelt unfastened chime popped up. After refueling, the same. I’m back at the dealer, being serviced as we speak. They said they were able to observe the problem, but then it just disappeared. They are now doing a reset and asked me to film if the problem will show up again. Did anyone experience the same problem? Wondering if it has to do with software or it’s simply poor quality of the seatbelt fastened electric contact. Hoping this is the only issue, but of course I’m a bit anxious right now. Thanks!
  6. Not sure, since I'm not in the possesion of the car yet :( How can I check for these, where are they printed? Are they written in plain format (like year + week) or it's some coding? I will check these when I will pick up the car. Thanks!
  7. Right, makes sense. I also thought about this. But still... is it normal/typical that age difference could get that high?
  8. Hi, Hoping this is the right place / topic to ask. I'm about to receive my new Superb 4 L&K TDI 193 CP. I'm a bit surprised by the DOT of the tyres (dealer sent me pictures with the tyres): they were made in week 2 of 2025 (DOT is: 0225) whereas the car has been produced in week 33. Is it normal for the tyres to be that "aged" compared to the rest of the car? P.S. The tyres are: Good Year Eagle F1 R19
  9. Hi, My VIN (Skoda Superb Mk4) has a "0" for the 6th (#airbags) character. What does this mean? Thanks!
  10. Right. Thanks a lot, @bazy!
  11. So then it's a "wet" DSG (btw, that's totally opposite to what my dealer said :p). Thank you! Oh, maybe the dealer was doing a confusion between TDIs and TSIs... does the 2.0 TSI version has a "dry" DSG? Thanks again!
  12. Hi, Sorry if this has been posted in the past.. Kindly please, can anyone say what type of DSG (model number) is fitted in Skoda Superb Mk4 - 2.0 TDI (143 kW) 4x4? Some say it's the wet dual clutch for AWD (DQ381-7A), some others say it's a new dry clutch gearbox. Thanks in advance!
