Can't answer your question directly but I do spend far too much time doing similar parts swapping across VW models. Have a look at any of the online versions of EKTA, I like lllparts.co.uk as they have the most upto date version, and see if the same parts are used on each engine.

Look at the build sticker in the boot or in the service manual. The transmission code is next the engine code. That will allow you to compare ratios with other codes.

Just swapped the box on mine and chasing the same info. ETKA says that the main box needs the oil mentioned above. Can't find any mention of the oil for the angle box. They are independent of each other. The fill port for for angle box is to the left of the drive flange on the driver's side. The empty port is at the bottom below the drive flange. Both boxes are full when the car is level and oil runs back out of the fill port.

Car deadlocked/Battery dead/No access
yeha replied to joeninho's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Using the key in the door lock should override the deadlock as this is how the lock mechanism is designed to work. -
Loose rear shock upper mount?

Anyone got a standard rear shock kicking around that they could measure for me?
