Today . look how the spec changed. S badge , not RS badge? So official no heated steering and not an option i can see. Leather-wrapped multifunction sports steering wheel with "S" badge But when i ordered and up until a day or so ago it was standard spec. Is this not covered under sales of goods act as not as described?

Hi again , checked the clima menu and no mention of heated steering. Is it just random , some get it some dont? Well, i await the dealer response after their contact with Milton Keynes HQ.

Ah'l have a look tomorrow mate thx. All this tech !!, i set it up tonight as me the main user. Privacy settings , jeez. Then i got emails coming in that i had services activated , then services deactivated. Also noticed the shop. Wont be long before we are getting adverts to watch before we start the car.

Mine built on the 23rd Dec. So i guess im onto nowt then as the brand can change spec without notice even though i ordered on 4th Dec. Still though , the website car builder still has as a gen spec item.

Hi all , I'm starting a new thread on this after some previous answers on an unrelated thread. I noticed that my VRS built around 20th Dec 2020 does not have heated steering wheel. Where the button should be is blank. On the standard UK spec, even today it says leather steering wheel with temp controlled rim. I contacted the dealer and they have asked Skoda UK for a an answer on this but the dealer said this had been discontinued at late build models for UK. So if the spec says you get it on their standard spec as it does right now on the website . What is likely to happen here? 1) I get a new steering wheel installed 2) Sorry mate , heres a gift voucher for money off servicing 3) We have the right to change the spec and not tell you, **** off and enjoy

What do you guys think of the matrix lights on the VRS . I set mine to auto full beam. In lit up areas no probs , on dark non lit roads i could see the beam changing but still a few drivers flashed me. Are the lights not supposed to dim to stop blinding oncoming drivers. As i said the beam changed loads of times , like when it seen road signs and i seen it do full beam to the left behind a car but not on the car in front.

I checked my steering wheel , i dont have that button , its just blank, maybe the UK are not getting as standard or the earlier cars got it and the late 2020 builds didnt

Privacy i have set to all on , ie the far left icon. I did this to see if i could get access as the first time it said i had max privacy on. Suppose it will take time to learn the features. Loving the matrix lights. I worked out how to get them working in auto. Great to see the beam changing for different roads. 5 yrs from now we will be in electric autonomous cars , wishing we could still drive turbo petrol. Cheers for the advice bud , its a great forum.

Car was built 23rd Dec i think , wonder if at that build it was deactivated. I read the manual and it says press one for max and 3 times to lower but dont see any notification. Ill try again tomorrow. Tell you what is annoying me most is the connect store. Clicked in that spinning wheel , so googled that and some users here said wait 10-15 mins. So engine on , waited near 20 mins , still spinning. What did u do?

Im not sure i got the heated steering wheel, deffo got the heated seats in the vrs , apart from the wheel getting hot , how do i know ive got that and where do you turn it on. Is it the my hands are cold?

New VRS arrived today so need help on getting the right cable. I have a Samsung Galaxy A20 , what cable do i need to get to connect to the car. Whatever fits in the Galaxy to USBC ?

Hi Pilot, its the petrol version in 245hp , Been out in her today , lovely. System though. on screen , loads to learn on where things are. Things like the fan speed but all will become apparent soon.

Hi all , im getting my new VRS this Tuesday and ive not had a petrol car since the early 00's. Do you still need to run the car in for the first 1k or is that old hat. Can i have a bit of fun from day 1 ?

Hi all, wee bit of advice needed plz. My DPF engine amber light came on today and when i parked at home the re-gen came on for ages ( felt like that). Over Covid i have still been using the car normally and on the motorway at least 4 times a week doing up to 40 miles round trips. So tonight took it on an extended drive for about 1 hour , speeds 50-70 (ish). Light still on after coming home leaving it for 30 mins and turning on again. No loss of power ( yet). Details: 190 diesel dsg One month out of warranty , figures eh! Personal lease VW finance with one year to go ( where the F do i stand on that, Skoda goodwill or lack there of?) 31k miles , 67 plate

Hi forum , tonight I started my car and the engine warning light stayed on and a message came up very fast saying something about brake assist. This message did not come up again but the warning light remained on. I noticed now that I remember yesterday when just sitting in the car with out ignition on that the cars fan started and stopped twice for a very short duration. That seemed really odd as the car was off totally. I have no engine decrease in power and my brakes feel the same as they did. The only other thing I noticed was the start stop was giving a message of power consumption too high and as a result wouldn't stop when the car did. I will be contacting the dealer as its still has 2 months left of warranty. Is it safe to drive the car to the dealer or should I use road side assist to pick the car up if potential damage will occur if I drive. Many thanks all

Being a lazy furloughed human with nowt else to do. When can I order the new Octy VRS in either PHEV form or in petrol . I see vids of the new car but nowt on when its here in the UK
