So excited its kept doing the same post!! What a car,she glides along,reminds me of my audi A8 i had a couple of years ago,its that good,im gobsmacked!! Hadnt driven one till now,took a chance,bloody glad i did.even in forty wet miles,allways rains when i pick up a new car,and keeping the revs low you can feel the power of that 280 lump,the grip of the 4x4,i could go on and on,i love it!! A very happy kevin.

My 280 arrived at dealers in jungle green,i like!!

Just been to skoda to sign reg docs,took a peep at the new girl,got to say it looked the dogs do dahs in its gleaming jungle green,well pleased,and the rear wiper dont look to bad! Pick up thursday,rain forecast,allways does when i pick up a new car! Might need that rear wiper.

The jungle green one in dumfries,what did you think of it in that colour,as people know i get mine very soon in that shade,it has really split opinion and makes me nervous!! Kevin

Nick does the car(its a beauty by the way) have adaptive dampers,they say on comfort mode they ride like an old citroen,lovely for 80 miles of m4 everyday,sport for the other 10;when i get the car that is! If you have,any good? Car manufactures and motoring mags seem to be hell bent on a cars whipping round corners like there on rails,in doing so riding like a camel,like the bmws ive had,bone shakers! If you dont have the dampers does she ride well? And the car!! Kevin

It actually a thin chrome strip that fits to the bottom of the tailgate,not on the bumper,doesnt serve a purpose other than looks,think you are on about the bumper protector,appologies if im wrong.

Bought a chrome strip for the base of my octavias hatchback,looked really good,would like one for the superb,think the dealer fitted it,the salesman said dont think you can buy one,but hes unsure,anybody looked into it?

Sorry,they are M&S i see on the text.will live with the wiper its the jungle green im worried about,not seen in the flesh yet,could look like pea soup on wheels,if it does i will put loads of wipers all over it to hide the greenery!! DONT PANIC

Thanks for jungle green pics,think im going to be pleasently suprised and pleased with that choice of colour,its a marmite choice i know,for me far too many white silver and grey motors about.will post pics when i collect,will either be smiles or tears when i do! Sure i can live with the wiper,not taking it off and putting a plug on it,how would i fill the bath tub!!

Hope mine gets delivered without the wiper,now on its way to the dealer for prep,riddled with excitement,but why did i tick that blasted box for f.o.c rear wiper,should have twigged that all skoda press cars didnt have it,like a sleek saloon without one,another hatchback with one,stil one hell of a machine though,cant wait to see those go with the flow bm drivers faces when me 280 horses let rip,be a lot of german express drivers looking at me tail pipes,and that bloody wiper!!

Got another call from skoda dealer today my L&k 280 now in the country be ready for me by end of the month,soooo wish i hadnt ordered that rear wiper,saw one today with it,spoils the sleek looks,bit gutted.fingers crossed jungle green and 19in pheonix wheels look the part though,not the most popular choice,good to be different i suppose! Its going to be a long two weeks!!

Looks great,love exhaust trims,makes the car i think.thats one of the main reasons i ordered the L&K 280 4x4,expensive them exhaust tips!!!!

Just been told my 280 hatch in jungle green,cream leather 19in wheels reverse camera etc has been built on the way.well excited.ordered end of july as a replacement for my 18 month old octavia vrs tsi dsg,lovely car,goes like stink,but drove me insane with rattles on the sunroof.at least i got a good deal chopping her in,was getting close to regecting car as been repaired three times costing skoda over two grand allready in repair bills,ouch!! No sunroof on the superb,once bitten twice shy!!
