  1. Any update on this - I'm after a few parking sensors in this paint code...
  2. So is there an off the shelf aftermarket solution for this or would I be looking at OEM retro fit? I could have a complete donor available for this swap, but the donor car has x2+ the mileage and I'd prefer to keep the 'newer' front seats in the original car. Alternatively I guess I could source a newer similar mileage set of heated seats????? Cheers
  3. Couldn't quite stretch to the latest Tiguan... It's the last of the previous gen.
  4. No, no budgets for me - these came with the car... Cheers.
  5. The wife's Tiguan (150 TDI 4motion) has a set of Jinyu Crosspro YS82s fitted and I'm looking to replace them. Anyone running this size tyre on their Skodas? We live in quite a rural area, so standing water and mud on the road is par for the course... Cheers
  6. So any tips on what to look out for? looking at 50k + miles....
  7. Excellent - I have some decent 18's that I can get refurbed... Those remap figures sound just what I'd be looking for. The DSG 190TDI - is the engine different internally/turbo, or is it just a map?
  8. P.S. What is the centre bore on the mk3 - would the Octavia wheels bolt straight on???? 57.1????
  9. Evening All, Currently have a 63 plate Octavia estate. I love it, but having lowered it and it being the 'normal' 2wd, it's now not ideal for site work in the winter months (this is only 1% of the driving, but it's got stuck on nothing but a bit of flat mud once already!). Been looking at various cheap winter SUV options, but can't see me enjoying driving one as my daily (wife has a 65 plate Tiguan and it's ok, but no fun). So, a cavernous Superb estate, same engine 2.0 TDI (150 - only a manual for me!) with the bonus of a 4wd system seems sensible. But what are the common faults/future problems to look out for? I was already thinking of getting the Octavia remapped, to add a little spice. With the same engine and power in a bigger car, that's certainly on the cards - nothing silly though. Any advice greatly received. Ryan
