  1. What was it you were loking for? Have you got part numbers or sizes?
  2. Yes . There is a big clue on the side of the blue Truggy shell
  3. Some nice vintage gear you've got there Ross Look after them, they're both getting rare and collectable now. Here are some pics of my toys. The first is a Hongnor Truggy with Axial 6.6cc motor producing over 3.5bhp. Best described as "Fairly nippy" The second is a Yokomo Drift car with the Blitz R34 shell complete with working lights. Awesome fun and will drift just like the real thing. The third is a Prototype 1/8th Rallycross that we are looking at importing into the UK. These are the pure racing machines that will touch 50mph off road. Here's how tough these things are:- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QADldgFHvD4
  4. I would think that leaves have blocked the drain holes under the scuttle cover (black plastic bit under the windscreen). When it rains hard the water can't escape through the blocked holes quick enough and gets into the cabin through the heater air intake, which is behind the glovebox. Open the bonnet , remove the fixings and lift the front edge of the cover and you should be able to clear the drains on both sides. Hope that helps
  5. Great news Andy. I'm really pleased that you're sorted already.
  6. March 04 Fabia VRS with standard 16" wheels. Fitted using the supplied TT hoses.
  7. I'm swapping to some VW 17" wheels on the VRS and the insurance company has loaded the policy by 10%. Thats an increase form
  8. It sounds like you have the same leak that blights the Fabia range. Fairly easy to fix if you're brave enough. Have a search in the Fabia section.
  9. Looks good Ride height looks about spot on for everyday use. Must say it looks strange without that rear spoiler, I never thought it would make that much difference.
  10. I'm looking at Pzero Nero's at 215/40/17 for the Fabia. They are Z rated which I guess is why the sidewall seems stronger and makes them pretty good with the Fabia's heavy front end. What part is the load rating and have the Nero's got a high enough one?
  11. The vRS Fabia's tyre speed rating is w on the factory fit conti's. Does this mean that when I get tyres for my new 17" wheels that I have to stick with w or will v rating be o.k., as it is well in excess of the cars top speed (it's not a 2 litre model ). Will there be any legal or insurance issues with the lower rating.
  12. I know Colin G is very happy with his Nero's, they have a good strong sidewall and low road noise. That's what I'll be swapping my Conti's for.
  13. Car's all loaded up and ready, can't believe how much crap you need for 1 night under canvas . Just washed wheels in the dark (9:45) much to the amusement of the neighbours and I might give the old girl a quick wash before setting off tomorrow. See all you midlanders at Tibby in the morning and the rest of you at about 10:30
  14. I'll be bringing my BBQ aswell so we should have plenty of cooking space.
  15. A claybar and a quick polish should shift fresh overspray.
