Fixed it by using lock/unlock button inside a few times. I did earlier open all windows on the key fob due to hot weather if that affected it in some way?.

The passenger door won't open from the inside now

Update. It's a warranty claim,they're doing it while I wait. Free wash and valet too.

I'm the original poster of this thread. I never did completely solve the rattle on my 16 plate. My 68 plate has never rattled so they must have fixed or changed something.

I'm taking the car to the main dealer next Monday for an assessment. Hopefully they will agree it's a warranty claim.

The passenger inside door handle chrome covering has begun to peel on my 68 plate Fabia. The handle is hardly ever used. Has anyone else had this and is it a warranty claim issue?

There will be some real bargains to be had on the outgoing model if not fussy about colour and specifications.

It's not worked for me on Amundsen.

My 68 plate is permanently live,I use it for my dashcam and leave it on when I'm parked up in dodgy places.

My race blue 68 plate Fabia is grey under the bonnet. What colour is yours under the bonnet? Just wondered why.

I've owned both engines in the Fabia,both dsg. I prefer the 1.0 which has surprised me. It feels better somehow and more responsive.

I'm in the same boat. I love my Fabia and I'm happy with its performance and extras including the infotainment system. I'm not keen on having more technical distractions on the dashboard,but I think this is the way all VAG vehicles have gone and are going . I'll be also thinking about the future and the cessation of petrol and diesel cars. I think the next Fabia will be enjoyable to drive but will prices be reasonable? The jury is still out for me.

I really do hope the lane assist or infotainment system don't interfere with the new model. I'm borderline making my nice S EL a keeper.

Looks ok,but until it's launched we don't really know. New platform will help.

I didn't speak to anyone. I was in the process of ordering a new Fabia with a number of extras but it suddenly changed to stock only orders,which to my mind means no factory orders for my wants and needs.

Same with front sensors

According to Carwow factory orders are no longer possible,stock cars only. There will be some good bargains to be had no doubt.

Almost double the price at Halfords by the way!
