When to replace battery?
@nta16, not sure but on your picture the charger seems connected directly on the battery minus port. I believe it's written to be connected to a car plate above, to avoid damage to the electronics.

Petrol TSI 204/265hp questions
Hey forum, Can't find trusted source to feel confident...so decided to ask here. 1. Are TSI 204 and TSI 265 direct successors to EA888 gen 3? 2. Do they have aluminium engine? (Better not but they diesel 200hp was changed for bad) 3. I assume lower power can be driven with lower RON fuel, where 265 requires only premium fuel. 4. Do they both have 4 injectors or 265 has 8 (as it was 280hp version before)? 5. Which DSG (DQxxx?) is mated to these engines? I know it's early for conclusions but I was told these engines were installed in Audi few years ago. Cheers!

Brake Disc Size
@fabdavrav, yes 288mm, as you said. I thought I can swap to 312mm after I remap 150->185hp to match the design of 1.8 TSI 180hp with 312mm ... but reading other threads sounds it's not plug & play kind of task

Revo or not ... for 2.0 TDI 150hp 340nm manual
Thanks @Ecomatt Thanks @SkodaKing . Would put little more details...is it better on low revs, mids or above 4k? Do so see more regens or any ECU errors at all?

Revo or not ... for 2.0 TDI 150hp 340nm manual
Hi forum, I own the car from new (2016) and have 69k km with it. Recently changed antifreeze,no silica tank, water pump, belts and so on. Then Revo came with a promo and now I'm struggling with a decision..To remap, or not The engine is 2.0 TDI 150hp 340nm manual and is going ok for my family needs if safe driving. However I plan to keep it two-three more years and will appreciate some change in the power...They promise 185-190hp and ~400nm.. No plans to move to bigger brakes or bigger than current 16" wheels. Here is what they wrote me. Attaching the dyno charts as well. DATA VALUES The Bosch EDC17 Boost In standard form the boost will peak at 1.4bar tailing off to 1.0bar at 4500rpm. In Revo form boost will peak at 1.5bar and tail off to 1.0bar at 4500rpm Fuel Mass In standard form expect to peak at 60mg/stroke around 1500-3000rpm, seeing 43mg/stroke at 4500rpm In Revo form expect to peak at 68mg/stroke 1800-3000rpm, seeing 49mg/stroke at 4500rpm EGT In standard form expect to peak around 780ºc In Revo form expect to peak around 940ºc Very stressing is the diff in EGT temperatures for me. Anyone with hands-on experience with this combination. I don't want to risk too much, that's why Revo was on the spot. Is this safe remap in general or I shall expect some premature wear in the components? Cheers!

@KhalidQasrawi, it will come again. Yes in my case was similar - on/off but at the end I had to replace. Of course check first the cables.

Check engine light - Car Scanner Pro diagnostic code 28253
@KhalidQasrawi yes..it is indeed. Attaching same error from very near past. They had changed the so called auxilary water pump, which is responsible also for faster engine heating.

Coolant tank cap - loosly moving when closed
Hi all, recently I've changed lot of stuff, one of which is the coolant tank with the new one. Without silica. However when I close it and I hear the "click" for the lock position, the cap is still moving in the horizontal surface (east/west, north/south). Is that normal? The old one was tight and steady. Attaching how it looks like.. Thank you!

Campaign 23AX
update on the software update ... not sure if it's always applicable OR it's due to the software plus the fact my car is 5+ years old ... but the regens do take longer now previously the duration was 16km approx, now is 32-36km And this is not a single case but at least 5-6 detected regens. I was told it's prolonging the life of the catalizator when it's aging

Campaign 23AX
My car was updated 2.0 TDI 150hp 2016y. Honestly recently lost little faith in the brand and thinking of replacement decided to update it. Who knows maybe it will also fix some other issues on the way by getting latest version. However no major change noticied yet. Will keep posted here. old and new version uploaded p.s. kind of tired of vacuum-oil pump noise, DPF regens, silica bags, water pump unevitable failure, recently check engine (other water pump but for cooling the EGR or heating the cabin, not main engine one). Warranty is over soon and feeling kind of pressed to take decision. 62k km in the odometer.
